We rented a west side apartment from Gregg Shimanski Realty for our college aged daughter. We would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to rent again from Gregg Shimanski Realty.

Apartment was nice, clean, etc. maintenance men were very timely and easy to work with. Susan was a little bit rude and accused us multiple times of being loud when we weren’t and also made rude comments about how I was hard to get in contact with when I called and texted her back immediately. Overall not a bad option, but was a little frusturating.

I lived in a Gregg Shimaksi rental property for three years as a graduate student, and I have to say it is one of the best deals in town. The apartments were clean, well-maintained, and everything that could be included was included in the rent (parking, A/C, laundry, heat, even Internet). GSR has a sophisticated website that made it easy to pay rent, request maintenance, and reach out if there were any issues. When the pandemic forced an unexpected change in my moving plans, the property manager, Susan, was incredibly patient and flexible with me while I figured out the details, and gave me the

I rented from Gregg Shimanski Realty for 3 years. The apartment was nice with off-street parking plowed in winter, their website makes paying rent easy and the few times I needed service the response time was excellent. I would totally recommend Gregg Shimanski Realty.

This company is wonderful. When I moved in they let me use a storage space ahead of time before my lease began, the maintenance staff responded to every request quickly (I think it took less than a day to get a light looked at), and one of the property managers, Susan, went above and beyond for me. She helped me search for apartments, assisted with scheduling entry of my apartment when I was working from home, responds within hours every time I have reached out, and is very kind and respectful at all times. 10/10 would rent from them again.

Good location. Issues: uncleanliness of hallways/common areas; strongly scented “air fresheners” in hallways; old plumbing (water in hallway a few times); heat does not always work; when heat is working... no hot water in the bathroom and if the heat is not working then there is hot water in the bathroom; old carpeting, and old appliances; pot hole in parking lot.

I was a tenant at Gregg Shimanski for more than three years at two different properties. I worked with Susan and she was so fantastic! easy to work with, so kind, helpful, considerate, never had any issue with her.
It was very easy to reach her even during the weekend.
I have been renting for over 16 years and never had a better experience than this one! thank you Gregg and Susan for making this a great experience.

Since Gregg Shimanski Realty took over ownership of the property where I live they have been making non-stop improvements. I have to say that I am very pleased with how willing they are to jump right in and do the right thing to take care of the property. The maintenance person (Jimmy) has always been very nice and pleasant to work with. They really take pride in their property and they always listen to and take care of their tenants. I look forward to staying here a long.

The positive was that they found an apartment for me in a matter of 2 days. Super quick such short notice. The rest was very Cruddy. The manager, Susan Brown went from being endearing to rude and disrespectful. I have had such a difficult time with customer service. My emails, texts, and calls have not been promptly responded to, if responded to at all. Once I said I wasn't renewing my lease customer service became rude and aggressive. Communication about apartment showings were often left open ended. Very disrespectful. For the high rent I pay for a studio, this place I do not recommend.

I called because on their website they have a one bedroom apt for rent. It clearly says it's available. When the rUde lady picked up the phone I asked her I was specific on the apt I was asking about she was very rude and said it wasn't available that it had been rent she didn't even let me finish speaking. Horrible customer service. And I understand that it's been rented but maybe you should take it off the market because it's also on Facebook market as available.

I just renewed my lease after a year in a Gregg Shimanski property. The building I'm in is affordable, well-maintained and updated. Although there are several properties managed by this company, my experience has been consistently positive- staff are responsive and attentive. Even though they're a large company with many properties, I feel like I'm renting from someone who treats the property as if its their own home.

Wow, reading the first 2 reviews, my husband and i were amazed with what we had in common. We had a neighbor that seemed to be schizophrenic and obsessed over our family. She called us all night and became increasingly violent, damaging our cars, banging on our doors and windows and screaming in the hall way, she even pounded on our floors from the basement. We were told to call the police, we did 9 times, and the police contacted management. (By the time our restraining order was supposed to be issued we were moving, so that was pointless.)Fed up I sent a letter stating that our "right to

Don't rent from these people. Neighbor next door played music and videogames with the volume cranked up so loud the walls literally shook and when I knocked on the door to discuss it, heard a loud "F**k you!" in response. Went to the landlord for assistance and landlord claimed they couldn't do anything without police involvement besides calling the other tenet, which she claimed she couldn't get a hold of so only left one message. So, did what they said and called the police, but wasn't loud enough for them to issue a citation. The noise continued and kept calling
