Terrible experience. For someone (one of the sr. mortgage specialists, if requested by personal message I will send you his name and NSLM number which shows the date he really got his license) to claim that they have over 30 years in experience with helping to finance homes in Northern California, he was very limited in his knowledge of how to process an initial mortgage application for a small business owner to be sent to an underwriter for pre-qualification.
He not only did not understand the function of a schedule C form on a tax return or how to use the 1084 form, he was also highly insulting

I would highly recommend Cedar Mortgage - especially Marge Nogosek - she provides top notch service for those looking for mortgage or refinance options. My husband and I are first time home buyers and didn't know much about how the process works. Marge was very informative and made sure we understood what we were doing every step of the way. She takes a personal interest in her clients and is always available when you need her. Along with a friendly, helpful staff, Cedar Mortgage has been nothing but a positive experience.

The comments posted by this individual are totally ludicrous and unfounded. Mr. Nice G. is very biased and not a nice man.
How do I know? I'm the listing agent for the property that he was able to purchase and he did nothing but try to get his hands on everyones commission that they worked very hard for. Some clients are realistic and some are self centered and demanding. I don't think I am in need of telling which type of client Mr. Nice G. was.
He doesn't mention the numerous machinations it took to help him buy his home, or how many times he had his hands in everyone

Note: this is a mortgage company called Cedar Mortgage Company with address is in 1670 Hillsdale Ave B, San Jose, CA 95124.
This is a private company owned by Daniel Burke.
At the beginning, this person spoke nicely so I decided to use his service. I got the good faith estimate (GFE) toward the closing cost. The YSP (Yield Spread Premium) was $ 500 in the GFE.
Finally we got the loan through him but the YSP became more than $3000. My understanding is The YSP is the money left on the table that the mortgage broker will put it into his/her pocket. So I call him to get explanation about why the
