Founded in 1890 by William T. Hilton & son Clagett, our business is now in its sixth generation of service. Stephanie Brady is a licensed funeral director for Hilton Funeral Home. She is a 2019 graduate of CCBC with a degree in Mortuary Science and a 2012 graduate of Stevenson University with a Bachelors in Business Communications.
Through the years, our aim has been to provide you and your family with quality service, service that is built upon your trust in us and our dedication to you. The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire, however any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead.
Our services include: conducting the arrangement conference; planning the funeral, consulting with the family, preparing and filing of all necessary notices, obtaining all the necessary permits, coordinating with the cemetery or any other third parties.In addition this fee includes a share of our basic overhead costs.

Sugarloaf Monuments was founded in 1990 as a division of Hilton Funeral Home by Woody Hilton. Woody's wife Lisa, and her sister Brenda Roundy, reopened the business in 2012. Our desire is to meet with families wanting to personalize their loved one's life in stone, in a very relaxed, non-pressured atmosphere.
Loss is hard, and we're here to help with the Hilton iCare Library. Our cremation services are designed to nourish your emotional, physical and spiritual needs after loss, visit as often as you need for articles, videos, and more from real people who understand. Coping with the death of a loved one brings enormous challenges for the whole family.

Honestly the best possible experience we could have had. We were terrified of being pressured into things we didn't need, being treated as if we were buying used cars, that sort of thing. The complete opposite is true. These people are kind, understanding, informative, honest and took care of everything for us. Its good to know that there are people who will look out for you when you need it most.

Hilton funeral home is family owned thru six generations. Daughter Stephanie recently helped our family thru our time of greif when my son Richard passed away.
Stephanie navigated everything, our requests, taking care of procedures we needed to know.
I can't say enough about this family.
They are located in beautiful Boyd's Maryland. Small town with big hearts.
We also held our father's funeral at Hilton's December 2013.
I Reccomend this funeral home to everyone because of the respect and humbleness this family displays.

We lost my father in 2019. This past year has been tough, emotional and everyday is a new opportunity to thank all, friends and family, for all the support. Today I would like to express my appreciation to Hilton Funeral Home family who overachieve our expectations. They took care my daddy very well, and his service was fabulous. I could not have been more satisfy with the service in those painful moments. Also, thank you so much Hilton Funeral Home family for the letter you sent on my daddy's first anniversary. This is a long standing, local, family owned funeral home. Our family is from Dickerson, Md and have used this funeral home for many years. Originated in 1890, has been passed down to family members until the present time. Woody was very informative and did not attempt to influence our decisions yet offered guidance when needed. A quiet setting and plenty of parking, they did everything as promised and every detail was handled. Reliable & Great sevice.
