Dr. Flora Luyando completed her Doctorates in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. Prior to that, Dr. Luyando attended Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, where she received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and her Associate Degree in Massage Therapy.
Acupuncture has been around for over 2000 years. It was first developed in China. It balances the body, mind and genetics ( Qi, Shen, Jing ). For example when your body is stressed, it produces negative hormones, these negative hormones can cause mental fogginess and or irritability. Other stressors in your body can be diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure to even a simple cold.

Last Saturday, September 18th, I virtually attended the Cultural Herbal Medicinal Therapy for the Womb Workshop conducted by Dr FLORA, along with other practitioners of various healing persuasions. The event was captivating and engaging from the beginning to the end. There was yoga, movement exercises, sound therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and acupressure, meditation, etc., and all of these culminated into a body/mind experience that left me with a feeling of well-being, even until this writing. Dr. Flora is a great acupuncturist, I have been with her for a month and personally she has helped me a lot with my headaches and muscle aches and my ear I had it closed because I could not listen and the second week I began to have As a result, I am personally very grateful to her. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and has excellent bed side manners.

Once you've had an in person with her your treatment doesn't end there , she makes sure you have things to work on and focus on about yourself until you see her next

I had a recurring cyst that never seem to go away and after my 3 treatment it was gone and I now have started

I've been looking to experience acupuncture for some years now, and I can say that I'm truly fortunate to have had my first experience with Dr. Flora! The only thing that exceeds her amazing skill is her professionalism! I was experiencing pain in my wrist after a nasty fall and literally, the day after my session with her, my wrist was stronger than it has been in some time! 10/10 I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for pain therapy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in general. In an effort to support Black businesses I came across Dr. Flora Healing Services. I was just looking to continue some acupuncture work but after the first session I was able to get so much more! Dr.Flora has a special ability to look deep into your soul to help you work on emotional blockage areas in your life. Through guided mediations, visualizations, herbs and her personal product line she is able to tailor treatments to fit my personal needs. I can not say enough about Dr. Flora's services and her healing abilities. I've been a patient for a little over four years and in that time, I've been treated for a variety of different things- from physical to emotional. Dr. Flora has a unique ability to see deeper than what's on the surface. She asks inquisitive questions which allows her to assess you as a whole. Prior to going to Flora I was afraid of acupuncture. Even though my insurance covers it I never wanted to try it. I decided to do so and now it's become a part of my personal self care regime. Everytime I come for an acupuncture appointment I have a different and more intense experience. It has helped me to become more aware of my body and how acupuncture can be healing in physical and emotional ways. I definitely recommend people take advantage of Flora's services!
