Alicia is one of the kindest wellness practitioners I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. Not only is she incredibly skilled at what she does, her general positive demeanor, genuine empathy, and level of concern for her clients are all incredible. I truly enjoyed every session we had together.

Acupuncture with Alicia is one of the best parts of my week; she is so awesome. Seriously, I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! I've been seeing her for acupuncture for over a year and I have seen so much improvement in my physical and mental health. My back pain is pretty much all gone, my sleep has been so much better, and she's been helping me with my anxiety. I could go on and on about all the ways she's been helping me.
She always makes me feel heard and is super respectful. Oh, and her needling doesn't hurt at all! She's extremely kind and professional

I have been a client of Alicia's for eight years now; I followed her from San Francisco to New York. Everyone knows that she is the best massage therapist in NYC, but her true secret weapon is acupuncture. Her treatments are out of this world - she is with you the entire time and exudes knowledge, wisdom, compassion and healing. I have been to my fair share of acupuncturists over the years, but no one seems to understand my damp spleen like Alicia! Her treatments are incredibly effective and her herbal medicine skills are just beyond. I feel energized, relaxed and whole after each session

It has taken me two years of trying to find a massage therapist in lower Manhattan who has the experience and expertise to which I am accustomed and whose rate does not reduce one to poverty. I travel a lot to Europe, the Middle East and Asia as well as the US and require massage on a weekly basis. I can state unequivocally that Alicia Cobb is world class - what one expects in the world's greatest city. She is very experienced, sensitive, a true master of the art, knows how to "read" a body and identify and treat needs with the proper technique. Her massage is not "fluffy

Alicia is hands down (no pun intended) the best massage therapist i've ever gone to. she is the embodiment of what a true therapist works a life time to achieve...heart based focus, technically skilled on both the physical and spiritual planes. she meets me where i'm at every time.
i've been her client for ten years now and she still pulls that magic rabbit out of the hat !!
alicia has a way of working deeply without feeling invasive & holds such a beautiful space for true healing to occur.
life is so busy and at such a fast pace these days. when i step into her presence i feel

Alicia is fantastic! My wife and I started going to her a few months ago and we can't get enough. Alicia goes to work on our bodies, finding the areas that need the most help. With me the focus has been on relieving stress and helping to correct my posture, while with my wife she's been helping to reduce back pain and increasing flexibility. If you are looking for a foofoo spa with slippers and waterfalls, this may not be the place for you. Alicia is the real deal, a great communicator, extremely personable, and does wonders with her hands.

Alicia has exceptionally skilled hands, a great sense of people, and really strong intuition. And the best thing is, she's able to bring all this to her work without being super woo-woo new agey. In fact, she's very down-to-earth, funny and real.
She's got a pretty wide range of techniques, from quite deep to really gentle, and works to understand what each individual client needs.
I've gotten a lot of bodywork over the years and was psyched to find Alicia. I trust her a lot and sing her praises all the time.

Getting a massage from Alicia is like doing drugs. But not gnarly ones like crack...definitely ecstasy. I swear, there's a point during her massages where I kind-of lose consciousness and have this weird dreamlike, out-of-body experience.
And when it's all over and Im dressed again, the giggling starts.
She's fantastic.

Ahhh man if there were 10 stars she would get it. My wife and I have followed Alicia from each location she has worked at and I hope she never disappears. From reading the other reviews it is clear she treats each person they way they want to be treated. If it is a day for a firm but calming massage she knows exactly what to do, if it is a day to test your pain threshold she has the power to take you to the edge. Sign up for the hour and a half because if you only do an hour you are only cheating yourself.

An hour of complete bliss - what could be better than that? I found Alicia through a Groop Swoop deal and what luck - she's awesome. I immediately felt myself relax just being in her presence, she has a very calm and centered energy. Her massage style was slow but intense, I never felt for a moment that she was rushing or just "going through the motions." Quite the opposite, it was clear that she was 100% focused and concentrated the entire time. She was very sweet and even took the time to show me a couple stretches to help relieve tension in my shoulders and neck.

It's tough to find a female massage therapist who can truly do deep tissue on an athletic body (in other words, someone strong enough) - and Alicia can do it no problem. She's really good at sensing what the body needs, where, and how to make it all work into one long session... and has been working on me with great results for over two years.
Very, very, very skilled - it took me about seven massage therapists in SF to find her!

Alicia is hands down the best massage therapist I've ever worked with. Before I started seeing her, I had chronic neck and shoulder tension and was getting migraines all of the time. With her more therapeutic approach to massage, Alicia has helped me get rid of my migraines completely and greatly reduce my neck and shoulder tension. I'm a personal trainer so it's very important to me to find an amazing massage therapist who really understands anatomy and knows what they are doing...and I finally have with Alicia. She's a true gem....and knows quite a bit about stress management

Alicia is the best massage therapist I have ever worked with (and I am a massage addict and have chronic jaw & neck pain). I have been getting massages with her regularly for over a year, and feel that working with her has made a huge difference in my health, attitude and well being. She is amazing!! She does amazing deep tissue work, but also is incredibly supportive, nurturing and every massage is unique. I highly recommend visiting her - your body will thank you!! She is also very skilled with chronic health conditions :)
