Our play-based program allows children to discover the joy of learning by wondering, exploring, experimenting, and playing. They make friends and have fun in a safe, secure, and supportive environment. Our caring and committed staff members teach to the individual child, supporting their unique developmental needs-socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.

Services
St. Francis Preschool offers an inclusive learning environment that welcomes children and families of all religions, beliefs, races, and cultures. Although our school is part of the St. Francis Episcopal Church, our curriculum does not include religious education. An optional chapel program is offered to interested students and their families.

For over 50 years, the program at St. Francis has focused on children's social-emotional growth and social competence. The staff recognize and honor each child's individual personality, abilities, and development. Our goal is to create confident and curious learners who enjoy being at school, advocate for themselves, and can be good friends.
Our professional and experienced team of teachers works collaboratively to provide a secure, stimulating, nurturing and developmentally appropriate early children education environment. They are highly trained in the field of child growth and development. Many of our staff have children who attended St. Francis.
St. Francis Preschool offers a developmentally-paced program with a balance of structured and unstructured play. Children learn about the world by seeing, hearing, and touching. The curriculum provides each child with activities and materials that encourage observation, problem-solving, decision making, and group interaction.
