I have been a patient of Dr. Anene's office for 12 years and they by far have always provide great client services to my Mother and myself. In the last couple of years, this pandemic has had such a toll on our community and his office is doing what they NEED to, not only to protect themselves and their families while they are working, but to also protect us. So if that means that when I walk into this establishment and the ladies are there to greet me and explain to me why they have on protective gear, I'm all in. Dr. Anene and his staff understand that they have an obligation to their patients

Horrible customer service! Find you another denist don’t waste your time. Scheduled my appointment for me and my son on 8/12/20. My appointment was 9/9/20 but unfortunately Laura cancel my appointment with out speaking with me. Who does that?? when you make appointment it’s confirm at that time, spoke with the manager and no Resolution! I will find me and my son a new denist!!

Dr. Anene is not a bad dentist, but his front staff is horrible.
You can call during business hours but there is a minimal chance they will answer. If you leave a voice mail, they may call you back or they may listen to it and never call you back, even if it's to make an appointment. When I got desperate to make an appointment due to tooth pain I had to call many times back to back until they finally answered. This has been a trend for the past few years in which he was my dentist.
The straw that broke the camels back for me is that they scheduled me for an appointment, told me the wrong day

Wonderful staff, horrible dentist. Dr. Anene is rude and has no bedside manner. I did not like they way he handled my mom's appointment. I would not recommend him or go back again.

I never stated I had an appointment, I stated that it was my mothers. Nor did I complain about the prices. Dental care is expensive anywhere you go. I said Dr. Anene is rude and unprofessional, that was my experience.

I can't say enough good things about this business. I haven't been to the dentist in several years so to say I was nervous was an understatement. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a warm hello and smile. I waited for maybe ten minutes until they called me back. I went though the procedure of X-rays and the check up all while being calmed, soothed, comforted, and put to ease by the hygienist taking care of me. She knew I was nervous and walked me through each step explaining everything so that my nerves were put to ease. Once the dentist came in he as well was nice but professional

This was the worst medical office I've ever dealt with. On our first visit we waited more than an hour for our appointment. They will call to confirm appointments but If you make the mistake and use this office be aware- if you call back and "confirm" they likely won't record that and they drop your appointment. They claim to keep phone records to track when patients confirm appointments but even if you confirm your appointment they will not have records of it. If you call back be sure to record the call yourself or get dictation that it is verified.

Love this place! My smile is very important too me and for the last 9 years I have been a patient and my teeth have improved tremendously! It seems like the negative reviews are about people not wanting to pay for services. Guess what; insurance doesn't pay for everything. Get to know how your insurance works before committing to work and know everything isn't covered 100%. Cosmetic services are never covered for by insurance so be prepared to pay. The staff is amazing and I never do online reviews, but the negatives are very bias and unfair. If you can't afford the cost, decline the service. It

My wife had a horrendous experience w/ this dentist & his staff. What should have been a simple crown installation turned into a 6 month nightmare with numerous surgeries ( some unnecessary), complications, extended use of painkillers, and a permanent problem with bite. She had to go to an out of network dentist and pay over $ 1500 out of pocket to obtain competent and compassionate care. Lastly, his staff was frequently unresponsive to her emergency phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN BASIC DENTAL CARE.

Dr. Anene is my favorite dentist in Charlotte, NC! He has great hands (e.g. excellent technique, thorough & fast) and is highly personable. In the past, I've been to other offices where the staff was unhappy, stressed & clearly did not enjoy their jobs. It's completely opposite in Dr. Anene's office. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in and it continues past check out. The attitude, equipment & music are modern (e.g. no elevator music ever). If you're like me where you've had negative experiences in the past and have been putting off needed dental work

I've been a happy patient of Dr. Anene and his staff for ten years now. I wrote a review three years ago and it really hasn't changed. I typically get the same hygienist, Kareena, who is super thorough and will get your teeth squeaky clean while you are in her chair. Everyone is always in a good mood which makes for a better experience.
I typically get two reminder calls as well which is helpful. The only bad part is having a pre-lunch appointment because then when I leave, I don't want to eat lunch!
Note that they are closed Monday.

Hygenist was very nice and technology is top of the line however, Doctor, not pleasant. Billed for repairing a fillign that was too high because thirty days had passed (did not know there was a time limit on poor fit), and as a result I was billed full price for a "problem visit". Office refused to address this. I am currently paying to replace a crown that two seperate doctors in two states have said is terrible. It is under three years old. I prefer this to revisiting the office. This is not a physician who is going to stand by his work. I would not recommend because of this. While

Dr Aneane and his staff are great. I took a chance when I picked Dr. Anene when needed some dental work and didn't want to go back to my old dentist. I was pleasantly surprised. He's a great guy, very knowledgable and made the whole experience a snap. I'm happy to have a new dentist that I like and can trust.
