Porter Street Apartments

Lived in Porter Street for 3 years. I moved out and accidentally had a package sent to my old address. I received confirmation the day it was delivered and what exact time. The first time I called, they were "too busy to look that day and current residents/future residents are the priority". I got an email the next day saying they have a lot of packages they are looking for and mine is one of them. They would let me know "if/when" they found it. I called again and the lady I spoke with this time assured me she would go look and call me back. Never received a call back. Package system was a nightmare

We were double charged for our last months rent and have been trying for 3 months to get our refund. Nice apartments, but don't expect to be treated fairly.

I have been living in this apartment complex since March of this year, and since April I have been making noise complaints about my neighbor. It is now Mid september and nothing has been done about it other than letting the tenant know they are being too loud. I have emailed and made multiple trips to the leasing office about this issue and get the same excuse "well its apartment living" the only staff member Rika that works in the office has made attempts to actually mediate the situation but management not so much, especially not when my apartment literally shakes from the force of the noise

I called to get information on an apartment because I was relocating to the area and the lady was so rude that I think it is best that I look elsewhere. I have been with Greystar Properties for over five years and I am so disappointed with the treatment, I will make sure to contact their corporate offices.

I love living here. Front desk ladies are always helpful and nice. The building is clean. The neighbors are quiet and peaceful. The amenities are great. During Covid-19 stay home order they management did great job by leaving our packages at our doors. Maintenance is great. You send a request online and maximum one hour and someone will show up (weekdays). At weekends if you have a maintenance concern you leave a voice message and someone call immediately to check how urgent it is. Thanks Porter Street Team!

Good for starter apartments - Moving to Baltimore, MD for the first time I chose them because I liked how it wasn't super crowded and the all utilities included was a huge thing for me. I've lived in two of their apartments: 1 bedroom and a studio.
Here's what I was unhappy with:
-Ship Fog Horn in the morning will wake you up
- The place is near the fire department so you will always hear the ambulance multiple times a day
- I've had a lot of frustration with Amazon Packages. For whatever reason, it would say delivered and it's nowhere to be found. I've had this happen more than 3 times. When

Excellent experience, clean facilities, nice people at the front desk, weekly activities, pet friendly, nice gym, pool and other facilities.

Fantastic place to live! Can't say enough positive about the apartment the building, the staff, all are wonderful!!
However, if you are someone who needs to study in the evenings, student/resident/fellow, you just need calm evening, or you have small kids who might sleep early, this place is maybe not for you. Every evening there is a game at the baseball field right in front of the building and the noise from the music and the crowd is inescapable. Goes on from 5/6 pm till 10 pm or so.

I wish I could give them 10 stars because 5 doesn't do it justice. The NICEST staff and employees I've ever met. I've lived in many different apartment buildings in many different states and in DC. Porter Street has the best customer service, no question. The staff are extremely accommodating and very easy to talk to! They go above and beyond to make the building suitable for your living needs.

Woken up at 2 AM with noise from the neighboring apartment. This has happened over ten times in the last three months, where my next door neighbor's thumping bass has woken me from a sound sleep. I've called security multiple times (once security called the police because the neighbor wouldn't open up), reported verbally and in writing to management - the problem continues. I've tried earplugs, white noise machines, my Bose headphones (fun to try to sleep in those), etc. Constantly exhausted. If you value your sleep, find someplace else to live.

After 30 days I feel it is now possible to give an honest and fair review of Porter Street. Prior to moving in my wife and I lived at McHenry Row for over three years and had a great experience and loved our apartment. When our lease ended, I pulled the trigger on moving the fam across the street to Porter St.

Porter St, AKA McHenry Row Phase II, has residents moving in but is not fully finished. They are getting close to wrapping up and are putting the finishing touches on everything. We have the right carpet in the hall now.
