So much potential but so poorly managed. toilet ran all night as well as the shower dripping. if you would like to sit by the gas fireplace you can have that for only ten minutes at a time as it is hooked to a timer switch that makes noise as it counts down. at 4:30 in the morning without a soul in site i went outside to smoke a Cigarette and a staff person let men know i needed to leave the property to smoke. A great location and a nice quiet spot despite the busy ocean access right out front. One of my favorite places to stay when there's a vacancy. Walk right across the street to the awesome Pelican Brewpub. Great staff.

This was our second time staying here and we just love it. This time it was due to the customer service and helping us out with our gift certificate we bought pre-covid. They allowed us to use it 2 years after it was bought which we are very appreciative of. As always, the views are outstanding with a nice balcony to watch the sunsets from and the bed was comfortable. The coffee from downstairs at Stimulus is great and we just love this place.

My wife and I decided to take a trip to the Coast of Oregon and while hotel shopping on Hotels.com, we stumbled across this hotel. I must say, pictures can be very deceptive as we finally arrived here and contrary to the pics, we were at a dismay. Don’t get us wrong, the views are stunning of the ocean and rock formation, but the hotel is outdated by many years and needs serious modernization to fit the scenery. The room is of good size but lacks updating, it provides great views, but the lack of modernization kind of kills the moment. The television is another story, you only have one channel

2 day get away to Oregon Coast.
Found this gem, and I do not regret it. It was bit on higher price but we had a ocean view and king size bed.
Definitely recommend this place.

I would give this a zero-star rating if it was available. Property is extremely dated and needs a refresh. It is owned by the same company that owns The Headlands across the street. Needs to be shut down and totally gutted and remodeled. Company has not re-invested in this property, and it shows.
Rooms are very basic, small, and smelled very musty. The toilet did not work, and we had to call the maintenance crew. We requested towels five times and finally gave up as no one did anything - not very organized. We requested and paid extra for a roll-away bed / cot and the bed frame was very rusty

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very welcoming and responsive but the location has it's drawbacks. It IS a nice view of the ocean across the street where a lot of fishing boats launch. Access to the beach is very easy.
The location has limited access to restaurants nearby. There is no restaurant in the hotel. The Pelican Brewery is across the street but always very busy and usually has a waiting list and not open for breakfast. We drove into town both evenings or dinner but the restaurant choices there were quite limited too.
The hotel itself was nice with a few issues. Our sliding

Great customer service from everyone that works here. Plenty of food within walking distance. The beach and dune are amazing as is Chief Kiwanda Rock which you have a wonderful view of from the room. Liked this location much more than haystack rock

If you are looking for relaxing beachside Inn this is not it! Nothing more than a roadside motel at almost $400 a night. Should preface this review by saying that I just checked out of The Ocean Lodge at Cannon Beach and at slightly higher price point there is no comparison. While the view here is beautiful....the obstructed roofline of Headlands across the street and road noise cancelled out any enjoyment. The hotel itself can use a cleaning and update. Website advertises welcome warm cookies at checkin... non existent and when they were provided they were mass production quality and placed in

LOVE this place! My husband and I only spent two nights but it was perfect. Spacious room with beautiful views. Their front desk staff has been incredibly kind and patient. Some of the best customer service I've been around. 100% recommend

Great place to stay. Right by everything you want and need here. Room was great. There isn't a bad room here! Every room has an incredible view. It doesn't matter which floor or side. We were on the end of the south side, second floor.

Only complaint about room is the bathroom was not cleaned very well. Found hair from previous persons stay in shower and when turned on jet tub stuff came out of the jets. Recommend filling and flushing the tub at cleaning, with bleach to disinfect and also clean the tub. The shower was absolutely not cleaned before we came in. It was really difficult

My boyfriend (now fiancé!) and I just stayed here for the long weekend and got engaged at the hotel! Let me just say, for an engagement during a pandemic there couldn't have been a better setting. We have been on the more cautious side and prefer to keep distance and minimize interactions, the beach was feeling a little busy so he opted to go for it in the room and the rooms couldn't have been better for this. The ocean views, even with the highway right through the middle, are so unreal! You have such a perfect view of the cliff side and haystack rock, it made for the most beautiful

This hotel is clean and appears to be managed fairly well but the price of the room is incredibly high for what it is. I just paid $390 for one night and it's all just road noise; you won't be listening to the waves, you'll be listening to loud diesel trucks zooming by. I regret this purchase

Spent a great two days here. This hotel is in the perfect spot. You are across the 2 lane road from the beach, the "Rock" and Pelican Brew Pub! Riverhouse restaurant is just 5 minutes away. We had a one bedroom suite, wonderful semi covered balcony. The room was nicely stocked...wine glasses, beer glasses, silverware, etc.... They are doing a great job with Covid, even giving a credit to the gift shop if you do not need daily housekeeping.....such a great spot! We will be back again!

First stay was pleasant with a nice view. Nice gas fireplace kept room very warm and then too hot
Downs: had to turn on ac to cool down the room with a portable AC UNIT. Hotel is old, drain in tub wasn't draining properly, there was a drinking glass that wasn't replace time of check in, had dried spit in it. They comp us with breakfast n coffee at stimulus bakery goods. We had dinner at meridian and ate breakfast the next day. We wanted better seafood so we skipped out pelican brewery. Front desk was very kkind and good with service. DVD rentals were complementary as well as water bottles

It sits directly on a busy street...have to keep the door shut and tv on to drown out traffic. In my ocean view room I have a view of the street, strangers, and a parking lot. When I asked for a better room they said they are full but the Airstream in back is available...rows of Airstreams isn't even good camping. A joke.

Every visit here has been fantastic. They were booked for the weekend and only accepting reservations for two or more nights. When we called last minute explaining that we are past clients and this was a last minute trip to the coast for the wife's bday, they immediately made us feel valued and welcomed us to come in for just one night! Bending the rules to make repeat customers happy is a good quality of a great business!
And these Cookies in the lobby are out of this world delicious!!!! Best "Welcome Cookie" I've ever had!

Thank you for making our engagement weekend so special.

First off, when we checked in to get our room it wasn't quite ready yet (mind you, we were 2 hours early for check in) but we were offered a text message when it was ready which was only about 30 minutes later. When we brought our pups inside, the attendants were so friendly and came to give them some attention which they of course, absolutely love.

We walked into our room to find treats, bowls, towels and blankets for our fur babies, and also a glass of wine with a nice note for the two of us. The view is amazing and our room was

Still one of the better bargains for a nice hotel that's practically sitting on the sand this far north on the coast. You can probably find decent hotels for less if you drive a little farther, but this one has been doing it well at a good price for a long time.

And the word is certainly out, for better or worse. The parking lot across the street is always packed with surfers and beachcombers these days, and there's another huge hotel (for 3x the price) over there now, too. Pac City is more bustling than it used to be. But it's all good. Nobody gets a beach this pretty all to themselves

One of my favorite sleeping stops on the recent Oregon coast exploration trip! The Inn at Cape Kiwanda (I@CK) is located in a beautiful part of Pacific City, but don't let the name, Pacific City fool you. A city...it is not.

Parking is in the back. An interesting design, if staying on the north end you could be on the first floor which is actually the second floor. If on the the south end, you could be on the second or third floor. Confused...me too. true the when I say that you want the third floor for the beautiful view that it affords. They have rolling carts to help bring your

We've stayed here a few times and have always enjoyed it here. Pacific City is every bit as beautiful as Cannon Beach but without the crowds and tourist traps. The Inn at Cape Kiwanda is great for families and people traveling with dogs. The rooms have great views and are clean. Prices are reasonable for a beachfront location. The staff is great. What more could you want? Check it out.

We stayed for one night and regretted not staying for two. The Inn is a lovely hotel and was part of a great Pacific City experience with the beach and Pelican Brewery bring the other two. Comfortable room with great views and going during the off season made it even better. Staff we're friendly and hospitable and we will definitely return on any future Oregon vacations.

Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located - this place was a perfect spot to enjoy at weekend at the coast. A dedicated marketing effort offers a "Manager's Reception" on Friday and Saturday nights featuring complimentary beer, wine, cheese and crackers.

A perfect mix of high-class amenities and small-town feel combine for an incredible experience. A good collection of free DVDs to borrow and board games to play coupled with fireplaces and flat screens make for a unique and amazing stay. Not to mention, Cape Kiwanda is only a short walk down the beach. Won't hesitate
