Teens, adults, and kids ages 4 and up receive instruction in Okinawan Goju ryu Karate-do from Master Instructor Cormier, who is a 7th degree black belt in this martial art. In this internationally known system, which is a style designed to teach you how not to fight, students will learn a variety of blocks, strikes, kicks, stances, grab, and control techniques and how to fall properly.
We instruct children and adults from ages 8 and up in the internationally recognized martial art of Hakko Denshin Ryu Jujutsu. In this excellent system of self defense, the student learns that he/she needs not be powerful to control or disable an assailant.
Although some of the strikes and kicks included in karate are taught, the main focus is learning how to control someone by utilizing joint lock and takedown techniques, which require more skill than power.Our jujitsu students progress at their own pace in a non-competitive environment. With regular training, jujitsu can help improve coordination, fitness, flexibility, and self-confidence.

If a mugger, especially an armed one, demands your wallet or purse, toss it away from you. Chances are he's more interested in that. Then get out of there if you can. If you're ever thrown in the trunk of a car, kick out the taillights and stick your arm through the hole and wave like crazy. When out alone shopping, eating, working, etc., and returning to your car, have your keys out and look around.

I trained with Shihan Cormier for years, during some of the most formative of my life. His impact on me as a person and martial artist cannot be understated. Though I no longer practice Goju Ryu, everywhere I went the skills and lessons I gained from Bu Ke Do Goju Ryu Karate have played a part in both training and life.
