I have been using Downtown Automotive for about ten years since moving to this area. Great service and good value. Mike is very honest and provides you with accurate information. This is the only place we use to service our vehicles.

My 1996 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, with about 304,000 miles (original engine), broke and exploded basically, for lack of a better word. New radiator put in, hoses, gaskets, etc. Basically strawberry milkshake leaked out all over the place I had parked it, before it had to be towed. Lots of stuff was done to it, new radiator, etc...to the tune of just shy of $1,200. A few days after I picked it up from the shop, it started leaking again. I took it back, they found yet another place that it was leaking (hidden behind and below stuff, for lack of a better description). This time they replaced the lower

Mike Torres is experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and available. We were new in town, our vehicle died, and as we tried to contact a mechanic based on Nextdoor.com recommendations, the first business we tried went to voice mail twice. We moved on to Downtown Automotive and are very happy to have found him. He made the necessary repairs within 72 hours and gave a cash discount. There's a night drop, which we needed, since by the time the vehicle got towed there, it was after hours. We will definitely use him as our new regular mechanic.
