When students are preparing to move away for the next step of their academic career, one of the first things they consider is where they're going to live. When deciding between on campus housing and off campus housing, many budding academics choose what they believe to be the more convenient of the two and go with on campus housing.
Follow these simple steps to begin the process of reassigning your housing contract to another person. Locate a potential candidate. You will be responsible to locate the individual whom you would like to take over your contract. Have the incoming resident apply. The individual who is taking over your contract must apply and be approved before your reassignment is completed.

This apartment complex has had many complaints due to being unclean and poorly managed (from what I've seen while living there).

Renters Beware:
I moved from WI and was never given a tour of my actual apt. I was told I would get a certain floor plan and the apt would be in clean, move in condition. Upon move in the apt was filthy. Paint all over the floors, previous residents clothes in closet, broken appliances etc. Washer and Dryer were broken for 2 months before they were replaced. Dishwasher broken for about 2 months before replaced. Roaches in the unit and hallways.
I truly fear for my safety with broken security gates and doors. Homeless people sleep in the stairwell. My car was broken into in the supposed secure

I would avoid this place as it stands today. I lived here for 2 years, and after it was taken over by a new Management group the quality of the building/care went downhill. Not to mention the new Management group is refusing to honor my contract, and trying to charge me $7,210 as a hold over fee for 7 DAYS, instead of the contractual amount $474.08 which I have paid.
Pros and cons:
Pros:
Close to campus. Relatively quiet. The college kids they hire for package handling and general questions are kind and polite.
Cons:
Door locks in the garage on EVERY FLOOR are broken and anybody can walk in

Very unpleasant move in experience. Filthy apartment hadn’t been cleaned in any way shape or form! Waited during move in to find someone to address issues and everyone was busy dealing with similar complaints and unhappy new residents. Submitted maintenance request through portal right away and sent 2 emails. No response yet. The unsanitary couch and chair need to be removed from the room and replaced ASAP. Someone else’s food, trash and potential body fluids are a health hazard! If this review can escalate the requests we have submitted then it will have served a purpose.

A questionable place, management has every kind of policy to prevent itself from “possible” arguments but remain least protection for guests. Very easy to smell something fishy during communication from time to time. After looking up those comments online, the quality problems rise seriously within this year. That just explains how I feel right now. I’m deeply worried about my daughter and her roommate who will move in soon.
ps. friends of mine in taxation bureau offered me some details to watch over, perhaps we’ll see how deep this hole would be sooner or later. (July 27th, 2021)

Pool and gym are never clean. Work orders take days to get fixed. Trash is left everywhere. It’s not safe and secure. Staff is friendly, but nothing ever gets done. There’s bug issues in the hallways and landscaping is barely kept up. Don’t bother getting an apartment here, they’re already turning them all in AirBnB’s so if you’re staying here make sure you’re okay with different people checking in almost every night. Just skip this place and look elsewhere. I can’t wait to be out.

We've had 8 fire alarms go off in the past 4 months. I just heard the people in the front desk say that the fire department doesn't even want to come... So don't live here unless you want to deal with multiple fire alarms going off and if for some reason there is a real fire not have the fire department take it seriously. Moral of the story is DO NOT live here!!!
Update: The residents have a groupchat and one girl posted that she was followed home by a man. He was able to get in there is no security in this place. There is currently a different many sleeping in the lobby. No one knows who he is

Would never recommend this place! Do NOT live in apt 15. When we came back to move out this apartment had mold in the bathroom, bedrooms and pantry! A/C was leaking and maintenance didn’t care because of Covid and no one was staying there full time. Have pics of maintenance painting over mold and patching walls and baseboards. You will get sick if you live here!

I lived at GrandMarc for two years and really enjoyed the apartment, staff, and location relative to campus. Had you asked me before moving out I would have recommended this place to anyone looking for an easy walk to campus. However, after being charged for not turning in keys upon move out when my dad stood next to me as I did my opinion started… to change. I followed the email procedure and never heard back. I continued reaching out and asking to speak to management, who was always conveniently out of the office during all hours of the day and never heard back after being told they would

I have lived at Grandmarc for 3 years and I am FINALLY moving out. When I first started living here things weren't that bad but as time has gone on it's gotten worse and worse. That staff is not very nice, the maintenance guys do not keep the complex clean, and everything is broken. There is constantly dust dirt and trash throughout the hallways… and stairwells. Most of the time the "secure" doors to the stairwells don't work so anyone can just walk right in. If you have to print something, don't rely on their printer in the Internet cafe that they advertise bc it's broken/out of paper 99
