Catalyst is in the perfect location relative to college town and FSU campus and having the grocery store within walking distance is great. Audrey and Alyssa in the office are kind and helpful and the building also puts together great resident events every month.

Catalyst claims it’s luxury living when in reality it’s not. It’s outdated in more aspects than one. I lived there for 6 months, and they charged me $430 after I moved out, which was mostly for cleaning services. I feel as though they don’t care much about their residents in comparison to other student housing facilities. In other apartments I have lived in, I have had employees go door to door to personally make sure there is nothing we as the tenants need whether it be maintenance, help in any way, or have any questions. Not to mention the hallways are filthy most of the time which wasn’t

Monthly rent will cost you more than you think!!! You might as well incorporate and prepare for EXORBITANT move out fees for things that generally are not expected of renters that take care of the place and just have reasonable wear..... such as professionally cleaned carpets, and many expensive nitpicky cleaning fees.

Honestly I usually never write reviews but if you're looking to move in here DONT. It's always loud in the building and the hallways always smell like weed or trash. But worst of all you pay a bunch to live here and when you move out you will be charged with something even if you spent the whole week getting the place ready (like $200-$300). The maintenance workers told me they always find things to charge you with no matter what. The management is also not the best. I moved out after my lease was up because it was honestly ridiculous. If you can live in another complex in college town

Hallways are disgusting, management is absent. They charge ridiculous move out fees; I throughly cleaned my apartment and room and they are billing me for things such as cleaning my ceiling fan (for $30) which is comical. Wifi in study rooms doesn't work, gym sucks. Look somewhere else! Seems like they haven't updated anything since they built it.

Parent of a Graduate student at FSU. My son's apartment was spotless ( my wife and son spent 2 full days to be sure it was so...) then we get the move out notice that we owe $297.50. Granted $60 is for the carpet cleaning; everyone get this charge, but that leaves a lot of PHANTOM charges. Who judges these apartments? We have lots of pictures that show a spotless apartment. We will take legal action. I will also get a response from this post and it will look just like the last response. We are not going away.

Maintenance staff is non existent. Rent is not worth it for the following reasons: Place upcharges for every amenity. When you move in something will be dirty, broken, or just not there. When you move out you will be charged over $300 in cleaning fees(not a joke, not a sometimes thing it is a garuntee). mine was $550 and the reasons are all repaint, when in fact I hadnt been to my apartment the whole entire COVID pandemic. Its a scam… live somewhere else…. trust me.

This complex seems to forget the fact that it’s illegal to charge people outside of the boundaries of their stated contract, and also the fact that some people are lawyers. they charged my friend an absurd amount of money after moving out, despite not breaking the statutations of their own contract.

I have had many problems while living here. The apartment didn't look like it had been cleaned before I moved in. The first time I tried to use my shower it clogged and would not drain from the hair of the previous person living there, and there was still leftover hair all in the bathtub. My sink always clogs from all the stuff leftover from previous tenants. There was a leak in the roof & that resulted in our fire alarm going off at 1 in the morning multiple times & did not get a new fire alarm that worked until a month after. The girls in the front office are very rude & are

My son lived here for a year and it wasn't bad. The amount charged per person is ridiculous (and is at any place like this). The apartments were fairly nice as is the pool area.
They seem to try to do community things.
We had some minor issues that were handled with some phone calls.
Parking is not great. There is an attached parking garage that requires additional payment to use. We were told there was ample street parking and that wasn't the case. He often struggled to find parking.
I think with the amount being paid for rent by each student (600+ each in one apartment) the parking

The management of this building rather evict their residents than work with them. Extremely inconsiderate of the needs of their residents and have violated the FHA and have harassed myself (- mentally ill resident) and my roommates. The gym is horrible, the community is horrible, and pricing for rent is disgustingly expensive for what you get. Do yourselves a favor if you are considering this place and sign a lease at any of the neighboring buildings, for the price you will be much more satisfied in every aspect.

I absolutely loved living here! It was super clean and all of the amenities were great. The staff is always super friendly and the best part was its location. I always walked to all of my classes so I didnt have to worry about on-campus parking. I also had the largest closet and bathroom, and it made it all worth it.
