The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone, marker, or medallion.

As a former funeral home worker I can say that this is the most unprofessional funeral home I've ever encountered. They were called to pick up my father when he passed recently. There were 2 women and a man. The man was wearing blue jeans and was looked very unprofessional. The women were nice, but they were all unsympathetic and uncaring. The next day when I called to make the arrangements I was told that they were too busy and couldn't meet till Wednesday, this was on Monday. I tried to call on Tuesday but the phone line was down. I know it wasn't their fault, but there was no other way to contact
