Services
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.
Our staff is committed to providing you with the highest level of professionalism while maintaining our founder's standards of compassion during your time of loss. At McCutcheon & Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, we are dedicated to honoring the memory of those departed, as well as providing comfort to their relatives and friends.
We offer off the street parking and a comfortable air-conditioned facility that provides a peaceful and consoling atmosphere where you can honor a beloved relative or friend. Our physical location is in Waynesboro, but we are more than capable of servicing Staunton, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg and surrounding areas within Virginia and worldwide.

I must say my mom and I were so impressed by them. They went above and beyond to help us in every way. We had my dad cremated and because my mom and my schedules conflicted with the hours of the Funeral home they hand delivered my Dad to my Mom at work. Always a smile and very patient with working with us. We highly recommend their services. Thank you so much Tammy, Sherry and Joe

They guided me and my family through every step of preparing for the funeral. They answered all the questions we had even the ones that had not been thought of.
