We just moved in, they (Trevor and Maura) worked so hard to help us get an apartment and we really appreciated it. They have great amenities like a great pool and tennis courts! They keep the grounds so pretty and well kept so it’s a lovely view. There are so many birds that are great to look at too, so I recommend checking them out.

My time here has been wonderful! I loved my neighbors and only moved out because someone offered me to rent a house. Management is great as well and maintenance does an excellent job.

My honest review after living here two, going on three, years.
Great value for the cost (2 bdr for $1075/mo)! Dog friendly, free parking, free locked storage and bike storage, workout area/tennis court, and on-site maintenance staff. Honestly, my favorite part is the view of the state park across Post Rd. Neighborhood is safe and unit neighbors are trustworthy/respectful--no issues with mail theft and neighbors keep hallway volumes low.
Maintenance staff deserve praise for the landscaping work (seasonally re-sanding the volleyball court, mulching the pines, hanging flowers at each building, and

Beautiful courtyard and amenities. Right in the middle of all of the nearby suburbs and downtown. Great for dog owners. My maintenance requests are always fixed within 24 hours (most of the time less than that). The office is always very responsive through phone or email. The walls are totally solid so you can’t hear your neighbors which is a huge plus!

I've worked on this property for several years but I only just moved in a couple months ago. The majority of the people who work here have also made the jump to live onsite too. To like a place enough to want to work there is one thing, but to like it so much to also want to call work your home is very rare. I'm in a 2BR and I really like how open the space is and my view of the courtyard. There was more storage in it than I thought so I don't need to use the free storage room in the basement but it's there if I need it. I REALLY like not having to pay for heat anymore.

The courtyard is amazing and peaceful, for kids or dogs. The maintenance team works hard, and the office staff are helpful, friendly, and attentive. They clearly are always trying to find new things to improve. The community is solid. We have lived at Valley View for many years, and plan to for many more.

My wife and I have been living here for about 3 years and have loved it. The staff makes a great effort to get to know the residents, make it feel more like a community, and make updates to better serve everyone. Our dog, Goober, absolutely loves visiting the office because the staff love seeing him (and give him attention and treats). Whenever we had an issue, it was handled quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that cares.

The location is really nice and everything in Madison seems close. There are frequent emails from management to let you know what's happening, for example what the plans for construction affecting the property are and updates on amenities around the apartment complex. I haven't heard my neighbors while inside my apartment once, my only complaint is there's no linen closet or pantry in my 1 bedroom so it could use some more storage space. Overall the location, apartment size, and amenities make the cost worth it and it's been a great place to live so far.

I am a current tenant here and have been with Valley View for almost 4 years. When my boyfriend and I first moved here it was great. Throughout the the years it’s been going down hill. The people who live here are getting worst. Management also implemented a new parking rule where you have to have a parking sticker on your car, or else you’ll get tow, which is fine. But they don’t even monitor the parking lots, which is what they promise their tenants. I actually had emailed the property manager about it and he had the audacity to tell me that he had personally drove past my buildings parking

Horrible place to live. I have never lived in a more filthy run down environment. This is by far the WORST place that I have ever lived. The hallways stink like dog and cat urine, there is constantly trash laying on the floors throughout each hallway, the whole building I live in smells like weed most of the time. The residents are extremely dangerous, they love to pick fights and cus and swear at each other. They smoke weed and drink outside in front of the doorway. The pool was such a horrible and dangerous environment that one of the old apartments managers used to always close the pool and

Echoing others reviews - the management is very unprofessional and communication is a nightmare.

I applied and was approved for a move in date for an apartment just two days away because I was in desperate need for housing. They sent the lease and overview of costs and there were multiple discrepancies between what I was told while touring vs what was on the document. I emailed, called, and left voicemails dozens of times over the span of those two days with no resolution to the issues. By 7pm the day before move in, I still hadn't gotten any answers so I had to sign somewhere else at the

Update to previous review.

After moving out and trying to contact these people numerous times, I was completely ghosted. I never got my security deposit back, nor a detailed, itemized list of why not. I emailed them again and again through their Tenant Portal Website that I used to pay rent each month, and I never heard a word from anyone. Funny, any other time I contacted them through this method, they got back to me within the day!

Currently in the process of suing them for my stolen funds. What a horrible way to run a business.

To any individual considering renting an apartment on this property, I would recommend that you record any conversation had between the management team at Valley View during lease negotiations/ any discussion regarding your lease. Prior to signing my lease for the third year, the management team changed, and many of the new members of the management team are HIGHLY unprofessional and will engage in deceitful conduct to induce an individual to sign a lease. For instance, I was informed that I would receive stainless steel appliances as the primary cause behind the jump in rental prices. I then expected
