Charming. Delicious. Oh, so perfectly local!
Can't wait to go back! We always start with their amazing onion rings (can't resist them) and even though their seafood is second to none I love the steak. We usually bring desert home since we are too full after the entree.
The wait staff are all so sweet. I love this place!

Everything was lovely. Amazing ambiance with a giant alligator right outside the large windows showcasing the wetlands. The food was great, service was friendly, drinks were well made, meal was served in appropriate amount of time. My two kids both ate their whole cheeseburgers, which is a minor miracle. Great spot to visit.

Really good service. The crab cake pasta was delicious. And had fresh crab in it. Not that imitation frozen crab. The drinks were strong and yummy. My only complaint is that a person came to ask us if we needed boxes like 5 minutes after we got out food. It wasn’t our server I’m not sure what her job was, but it made us feel rushed.

Food was just ok. We really mostly just enjoyed beignets and the alligator stuffed mushrooms even though the mushrooms were very tough for some reason, maybe microwaved I don't know. I liked the glaze on the boudin stuffed chicken but the chicken itself wasn't seasoned and after a few bites I saw that my chicken was raw and couldn't finish it. The jambalaya had no seasoning and was cold. The kids had the seafood platter and everything was unseasoned they didn't finish it. The seafood pasta sauce was oky but the shrimp wasn't seasoned so that threw it off. The bread pudding was ok. The beignets

Came back to try out their lunch menu and it was so much better! I had the shrimp Louie salad and it was soooo good! Something about those salads! My mother in law had gotten the popcorn shrimp salad and I tried a few of their shrimps. It had a good season and batter to it! Everyone in our group enjoyed their lunch! Oh don't forget to order their onion rings!! Huge, crunchy, and yummy!

There didn't seem to be much in Lafitte, Louisana open on a Sunday! Our airboat guide recommended this place and it was a great spot. The outside is quaint and inviting. I am sure spring evenings on the porch are just about magical.
Inside, tables have a view of the swamp and it is gorgeous!!
The food was outstanding, my friend and the wedge salad and I had blackened chicken pasta.
When we asked about the history of the place, the owner came over and explained and then helped bus a table. Incredible to see that kind of dedication to customer service!

Delicious fried catfish and huge fried shrimp! My platter included a side which I chose to be grilled asparagus. You also got a side salad, which I chose the wedge. The bread and meal were delicious. The seating area had huge windows with a view of what is part of the bayou. It was reported that at times you get to see alligators come to visit. The restaurant is in Crown Point, Louisiana and out by the bayou. It is open every day from 11:30 - 9PM with a Sunday brunch 11:30 - 3PM. Make sure you make it out ! You will not be disappointed!

Off the beaten tourist path and thank goodness. I finally found an etouffee I like outside of someone's home cooking. The crawfish in the etouffee were melt in your mouth soft. I really appreciated that this dish didn't remind me of gravy. I also tried the soft shell crab and remember it having a yummy batter.
I also liked the oak trees with Spanish moss outside. I only wished I had an alligator sighting.
The restaurant can seat a lot of people and looks like it would be a good venue for a large event.

I went in for lunch on a Monday. We ordered from the lunch menu. We went with a soft shell crab sandwich, catfish po boy, and two kid lunches (hamburger and spaghetti).
The soft shell sandwich is decent. Not the best crab, but not the worst. It is a little unwieldy in sandwich form, so you end up eating it with a fork. The remoulade sauce on it is quite tasty and original. The fries that came with it were marginal. The catfish po boy was huge. It had a ton of catfish on it. The catfish had a slightly muddy taste to it. The po boy came with gumbo. The crab sandwich did not. Not sure why it came

Well, the Sunday brunch here is pretty much the best deal I've come across. It's a 5-Course brunch with bottomless champagne for roughly $35-40 depending on your entree choice. Steal? Absolutely!
Every course I had was very good. The oysters rockefeller appetizer left me wanting more. My soft shell crab was fried perfectly. The only thing I didn't love was the dessert. There are several options to select from on the 5-course special, but none of which really wowed us--certainly all edible though!

This place is amazing!!!! The waiter & waitresses are nothing short of great! My fork fell on the floor & before I had an opportunity to put it up Jake was already at my table with another one. Now Kelsey was our bartender & I loved all the drinks she brought to the table. My favorite is the lemon drop, though!!!! It's the greatest. Our waitresses was so attentive & patience with us. We were a large party there on Tuesday night.
