Probably my favorite Chinese take out spot in New Orleans. I've eaten both in the restaurant (it's small and they only have maybe 3-4 tables) and also through Uber eats. The price is good (especially lunch and dinner specials) and so is the food. They are also really good about following and accommodating dietary restrictions.

We really enjoyed their food. It tasted pretty authentic and made with that old Shanghai love. Disclaimer: I've yet to visit "The Shanghai" in China (if I do, I'll be sure to Yelp lol) but this place has me reminiscing over the old Shanghai restaurant back in Palm Beach that we enjoyed when I was a kiddo.
New China's food has depths of flavors that you simply cannot find at many Chinese joints. Their Mongolian Beef was divine as were their General Tso's, combination lo mein and combination rice. The wonton soup was also excellent. I sampled a little of everyone

I never review stuff. That said, I live a few blocks from here and order all the time. The food's always great, but tonight after a 50+ hour work week I ordered online for pickup then promptly fell asleep. Over an hour later, I woke up and called to make sure it was still there (I hadn't paid yet). Not only was the lady nice after I had them make a ticket then didn't show up to get it, the food was warm and delicious! Didn't at all taste like it had been sitting, and I'd ordered the Cho Cho, little fried purses stuffed with pork, shrimp and water chestnuts. So good I thought everyone should know

The go-to spot for Chinese takeout in New Orleans!!!!! Everything is consistently good (fresh veggies, meat prepared well, tasty sauces) and it's always fast and reasonably priced. I think at this point I've ordered lo mein from at least 10 other places and this is my favorite. Also, the lady that works there is so sweet

Grubhub delivery was on time; however, the food HIGHLY disappointed. Hair found in the packaging of egg rolls, the shrimp mussy and slimy within the fried rice, sweet and sour chicken overcooked plus tried to hide it with A LOT of sauce, and chicken lo mein overcooked. It looks like the food came from a buffet line, reheated, and packaged to go. Come on now, I know it's cheaply priced food but the cooking standards didn't even add up to a child learning how to cook rice for the first time. If your going to stay in business for the next 5 years, reevaluate your cooks and standards of food to the

I got delivery through door dash for New China and was pleasantly surprised. The food arrived so quick which means they prepared it quickly. It also arrived piping hot. I thought the sesame chicken could have been crispier but other than that it was delicious and so was the rice on the side. I also got vegetable lo mein and an egg roll which were also both delicious!

Oh my was I totally surprised by this place! It's a little hole in the restaurant with friendly staff and delicious traditional Chinese food fare. The portions were good sized too. My husband and I bought a family meal for two with the intentions of ordering something to go for our son. We're had so much leftover after eating that we didn't have yo order him anything separate. We will be back!

I had a more solid experience for dinner when we dined in last week. Our server was very sweet and we avoided the fried rice by ordering off of the main menu. Ha! We had Mandarin Chicken (still with no peanuts??? sauce not as tasty as the last time), Crab Rangoon, Hot & Sour soup, and the Mongolian beef.
It was an inexpensive dinner with plenty of variety. I really enjoyed the Mongolian Beef as it was full of flavor and heavy on the beef, whereas the Mandarin Chicken continued to feel skimpy; we even ordered dark meat and there wasn't much to the plate.

This is my favorite chinese restaurant in New Orleans! The woman who takes order is EXTREMELY friendly and also helps back in the kitchen as well. Because of this, my order was ready in about 5 minutes. You have to try to Honey Chicken with Shrimp Fried Rice. Its slightly sweet, but not overly so. It also isn't spicy at all, in case anyone is worried about that. I wish this place wasn't so close to my house, because I will definitely be back here again!

What a pleasant surprise !
I had been seeing this strip center storefront restaurant on my WalMart milk runs, but avoiding it, because it was squeezed in between the Wally Mart parking lot and a big housing project.
Tonight, with Wife still out of town, I chanced it.
Entered to find a big, clean, bright place. And, LO! There was a big table filled with happy well dressed Chinese-Americans munching away, chopsticks flying.
Greeted by an English-fluent American waitress & Oriental cooks. Got quick menu advice & ordered.
Hunan shrimp & beef was typical US oriental food style,

Above average Chinese food. Their egg rolls are great. I love their homemade spicy mustard. They charge you for it, but totally worth it. The fried rice and general tsos are above average as well. The generals was not particularly spicy, but it was good nonetheless. The streamed dumplins were average as was the beef dish and chicken lo mein we got. No boneless spare ribs here which is just weird. They are quick and fairly friendly (by Chinese takeout standards), and the prices are good. Perhaps best of all: the food all tasted fresh and like the meat it was.supposed to be. I wish this place.was

Good American Chinese food! No frills, cheap, good eats. Its not the best Chinese food I've ever eaten but it gets the job done. They have a pretty solid menu, and the lunch menu, you can't pass up on. For less than $8 you can get a full lunch plate with an egg roll. Only downside is that their EAT 24/Yelp menu doesn't correlate with their updated menu that's offered in the restaurant.
While I've never had the desire to dine in, take out is ready is less than 10 minutes and all utensils and condiements have been included in the bag without me having to ask for them.
