SUPER CHEESE FRIES: Basket of our crispy French fries topped with melted cheddar cheese, bacon and chives $9.00. SUPER NACHOS: Corn tortillas topped with homemade chili, cheddar cheese, Pico de Gayo & jalapenos. Served with sour cream. LOADED POTATO SKINS: Potato skins fried to a crisp, loaded with cheddar cheese, bacon and chopped green onions.

Didn’t begin my order until the door dash driver ARRIVED at the restaurant, so it took double the time it should have. Genuinely bad food. I’ve had better spinach dip from a jar. Super small portion. Chips stale, not salty. Cheese fries covered in a liquid cheese lower quality than what you get at a high school football game. Wings mediocre. Use better chicken. Going to tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

On my first born kid, y'all would get a one star review. I wish I had a receipt or asked the bartender her name. B/c my phone was dead, I couldn't challenge my ticket time, but a medium well burger shouldn't take 25+Mins ticket time. Don't FW me, I work in F&B. Seriously y'all had less than 10 ppl in y'all establishment at the time, no rush, so what exactly was the wait time. I would be nasty with the expletives bc you're bartender really tired to challenge me, with a patron trying to take her side, so Ima take the 1 star away from the two I was trying to

Try to go have pub food before the Saints game on Monday Dec 27th. Three of us walked in an were ignored. It was around 6:00. It was not busy at all, just a few bar patrons. We sat down and waited. The young man bartender went out back to grab some to go orders. Came back out continued to ignore us. He could've said be right with you or I'm here alone, do you mind ordering at the bar. Nope. Nothing. After 10-15 minutes, we got up and walked out. Never go back.

Food took two hours to arrive with 0 communication- and we don’t live far. I didn’t feel quite right when eating my burger last night, and I’m writing this as I woke up at 5am to purge whatever that food was. I thought my intestines were shutting down. Safe to say I will not be eating from there ever again.

It's a dive bar in New Orleans where locals go. We walked here from Lilly's Cafe and bought a few beers before heading over to City Park. I had the mango wheat beer. Service was standard. It was a typical dive bar. There was maybe one other party there when we were there after lunch. Apparently, they also serve food but we didn't order any. We finished our beers and left in a Lyft.

$15 burger was not worth it. Frozen patty, one tomato, stripes of Romain lettuce, a piece of bacon, spoon of shredded cheddar and plenty of old and stale fries ( I walked in the door when the notification the order was ready and the lady was tying up the bag). So I didn't arrive and hour later. Y'all can do better because I have eaten the many times and this was the worst food of all my visits. BTW I have had two other restaurants burger very close by and down the hatch is not a threat and they charge $15 also.

For starters, the Uber Eats driver only picked up half of our order…but the half that we did get was disappointing. The $17 catfish plate we got with sweet potato fries (seen in the provided pic) had three 4” fried pieces and the rest of the plate was sweet potato fries…luckily the bartender provided me with extra catfish because of the inconvenience (only reason why I’m providing 2 stars)…but all of our order was pretty much gross. The spinach artichoke dip was overpriced and not that good. The shrimp for the Po Boy

Ok so boom. The lemon pepper wings are fantastic. A little on the salty side, but the ranch really tames that down (that's if you use a sauce on the side for your wings) The spinach dip was actually pretty good. The chip to dip to price ratio is very unequal tbh. I think the spinach dip was $9 if im not mistaken. And if you look at the picture, there wasn't $9 worth of spinach dip. Maybe more $3 worth of dip and $6 worth of chips. I probably didn't even eat half of the chips by the time I was done with the dip. But other than that, the service and time within we ordered the food

Uber Eats Order was extremely disappointing tonight. Food arrived and it was all pretty bland and underwhelming. I would have given it a 3 star rating, but I guess it’s my fault for not trying it in person. However, the burger didn’t have any seasoning on it. None. Just a beef patty cooked. It was cooked like I like it - medium rare - but the flavor was off. The shrimp po boy was OK. The shrimp was ok but again no flavor, and the bread was so rubbery (probably due to waiting in the styrofoam box for delivery, so my bad for not just coming in the restaurant, but still). We came upon Down the Hatch by accident, as apparently numerous restaurants in Nola are closed on Wednesday but haven't updated their sites, etc. WE WERE DESPERATE.
Turned out amazingly well, and now I have to say I'll be coming back without any doubt - karma was on our side!

They have dead flies cooked in their food and they block you if you complain. This fly was deep cooked into the cheese of my potato skin. I picked it out bc i thought it was an olive or something accidentally… mixed and i don’t like olives.... no... way worse than that

My bf was craving a grilled chicken sandwich and didn't want to go very far. So we looked up grilled chicken sandwich. Down the Hatch popped up and I only remember them for their Black and Gold wings which are phenomenal.
We ordered online because we wanted to get it to-go and got two grilled chicken sandwich that come with fries and a spinach dip. I was hungry for more but I'm so glad I did not. That chicken sandwich was HUGE! We both added cheese and bacon to ours. The fries were a little soggy but nothing an air fryer/oven couldn't fix.

A great little neighborhood bar, perfect for quick drinks and a bite to eat. We visited this bar on Sunday on a whim, and we were pleasantly surprised. The tables in their back patio were space far enough for social distancing, which I appreciated. They also had large big screen TV's throughout, playing various football games. The bartender even offered to change the station to the game of our choice which was quite thoughtful.
The food was also a pleasant delight! I ordered their Buffalo wings, and I could not stop eating. My companion ordered a cheeseburger, and it was larger than expected

I ordered to go. the mango habanero wings were mild unfortunately. The gyro plate looks good and will eat it soon as well as fountain diet coke. They have video poker . There is a patio area for outside seating looks like an interesting patio bar. The kitchen serves late at night so that helped me. Overall pretty good for a neighborhood bar

First the good parts about this spot. Good deal on pricing considering the area. This part of Magazine Street offers a slightly higher food and drink price options, Down the Hatch saves the day with something reasonable. The service is very friendly, attentive, and quick. The food also comes out pretty quick with a good presentation on their plating. The number one seller here will be their amazing patio. The patio is large, has an outdoor bar, multiple TV's, heaters (or fans depending on the season), endearing kitsch lighting, and ample room for a larger group. I gave 4 stars because the food
