Services
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Firstly, our pets can't speak, they cannot tell us if they feel unwell or have any other indicators of internal illness. We need to examine patients annually and every 6 months for pets with chronic conditions. We may also recommend running routine screening tests to detect underlying disease BEFORE it is clinically apparent.
Our surgery services are catered to your pet. We consider age, weight, pre-existing conditions, and overall general health of your pet before surgery. To ensure there are no underlying medical issues that would put your pet at risk for complications, we offer pre-anesthetic blood-work prior to surgery.
The Classic will have your dog looking it's best. We start with ear cleaning/plucking, face and feet trim, and sanitary trim followed by a toe nail trim and coat brushing. A deep massaging bath, anal gland expression, and a styling blow dry completes your pooches Classic Package. The Works package is a complete doggy spa day.

Our first meeting was not the grand moment. We had a 14 yr old beagle in a lot of pain and covered in lumps and was time to ease her suffering. I called and they fit us in that day and examined her and gave us our options and comforted us. (Our previous vet retired without notice... opps). With how respectful everyone was and caring, I told them when we got a new pet.. we would be back! This was 7 years ago. I now I have two kitties (one with megacolon), a doggo, and a bird and I live in Hampton. It is so worth the drive. They even have a pay it forward program that helps those that can't afford

I chose Ivor Vet Clinic to take my furbaby for a dental cleaning. Though I have had a dog for the past 54 years, I have NEVER had their teeth cleaned. This didn’t shorten their lives because they lived anywhere from 16-1/2 years to 18-1/2 years. I just decided to get this dogs teeth cleaned, because she started developing bad breath (she’s 6). The staff at Ivor Clinic was pleasant, professional and comforting throughout the process. Most importantly, they took great care of my little girl. I highly recommend them for care of your precious furbaby!

My pup is…less than ideal…when it comes to vet visits. They were extremely patient and never cornered him to draw blood or give vaccines. She gave many references to behavioral assistance as well as medical assistance for my dog’s anxiety. 110% would recommend to anyone!!!

Don't let the "small town vet in the middle of nowhere" scare you away. Dr. Gerald is the most engaged, concerned and attentive veterinarian I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Her professionalism, knowledge, genuine concern for my dogs and friendly staff are stellar. I have always fostered, homed, loved dogs and have been to more than my fair share of vets and Ivor Veterinary is the best by far. And btw...most reasonable pricing of any veterinary care facility I've visited.
