High fives come easily at the Lotus Tree. This is a place where kids-and human potential-are celebrated and championed. Here, play is therapy. With a tree, a cave, a zip line, a music studio, learning centers, offerings for every age and so much more, we open kids and adults up in a creatively imagined space designed to elevate the senses, so we can all grow into something great.
Kids, infants, families, and adults come to the Lotus Tree to better connect the mind/body using sensory integration, occupational, speech, music and physical therapies, as well as other complementary and therapeutic services. Several of our therapists bring their dogs to work, and we think of them as part of our team, working together with our staff to provide comfort and encouragement when extra support might be needed.

Services
In a space designed to engage and explore, the Lotus Tree brings kids to their senses. Sliding, climbing, laughing, reacting to the environment-this looks like play, but it's really therapy. When kids feel disconnected in some way to their body or surroundings, the tension and stress inside comes to the surface and interrupts the developmental flow of social, movement, and communication skills.
The Lotus Tree is seeking an outstanding, full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team! The perfect candidate loves working with kids and their families, enjoys collaboration across disciplines and understands that connection is an essential element of therapeutic intervention. In accordance with the CDC recommendations for healthcare facilities, The Lotus Tree will continue to require face coverings while in the building.
The Lotus Tree accepts most insurance plans*, but please call your health insurance company in advance to verify we are a provider in network. Co-pays or co-insurance for outpatient therapy often differ from doctor visits and are due at time of service. It is your responsibility to know your plan's requirements, including pre-authorizations and referrals.

Although the staff, environment and intentions of helping mothers with new babies is wonderful here, we had a difficult time. With all the help they did offer us, my newborn son was presenting with more difficulties and zero improvement. At some point, I wish they would have said, "You need more help than what we can provide. Please seek out a pediatric specialist or ENT." My son was later diagnosed with a "floppy airway" and ended up having surgery on it AND his tongue and lip tie at 4 months old. No amount of PT or Lactation consulting would have helped him. I tried everything- my baby was struggling

I took my infant daughter here to see Kathy for craniosacral therapy following a lip and tongue tie revision. The staff was welcoming and Kathy was great with my daughter (who was around 6-8 weeks old during these appointments and always seemed relaxed when Kathy worked with her). Kathy even squeezed us in for a lunchtime recheck when my daughter had a setback in her recovery. The location is far from us, but worth the drive. Wish it were closer so we could drop in for the tummy time classes!

My child went to the Lotus Tree for almost 2 years and I cannot express my undying gratitude for the efforts of their staff.
If you have a child had developmental issues or you need help with some aspect of language/behavior I urge you to do your best to try and get into the Lotus Tree. Their staff is kind, knowledgeable, and their therapies are exceptionally effective.

I am extremely happy with The Lotus Tree they have been working with my son on his speech and I have seen a great improvement already. Very friendly caring atmosphere. The therapist is very good with communicating after every session to help us understand what he worked on and how we can help him at home.
