OUR MISSION at Yoga for Wellness is a focus on individual needs, whether in private instruction or group classes. We all have our unique needs and goals, and a single practice is not appropriate for everybody. Historically, in fact, yoga has been taught individually, teacher to student, not in groups - one teacher providing completely individualized instruction to one student.
All teachers at Yoga for Wellness, LLC are certified and/or registered with Yoga Alliance and have a broad variety of experience, training, and knowledge. Our teachers each have a personal yoga practice and embody yoga in their daily lives in turn offering unique experiences to every student in their classes.
The practice awakens the realization of one's deepest desires and great potential for healing. During iRest meditation, sheaths or layers of Being are openly explored with no goal, except to simply be with whatever arises during the process.
These sheaths (also called koshas) include the physical body, the energy body, the sensation, feeling and emotional bodies, the bodies of thought and imagery, and the bodies of bliss and personal ego identity. The difference between iRest Yoga Nidra and other types of therapy is that we start from the place in ourselves that is already completely whole and without need.

Yoga has traditionally been taught on an individual basis, one teacher to one student. In a private session, we work one-on-one to assess your specific needs and design a therapeutic practice to fit you uniquely. If you are new to yoga, finding an appropriate class can be a daunting experience. A private yoga session is a non-intimidating way to discover firsthand if the teacher and approach are right for you.

Jeanne at Yoga for Wellness runs an outstanding yoga center. It doesn't matter if your yoga experience is advanced or you are just starting to learn yoga, they have classes for all abilities. Often I have found yoga studios to be intimidating but that is not the case with Yoga for Wellness. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The teachers are experienced and helpful. I recommend Yoga for Wellness to all my patients.

To say Jeanne Dillion is a remarkable yoga teacher is an understatement. "Wizard" would be more apt.
During a stressful time of in my life I treated myself to a private yoga class with Jeanne Dillion. I had been sitting in front of the computer too many hours a day and not getting any exercise- I knew I had to stretch and thus justified the luxury of a private yoga session.
I had no idea the kind of profound healing experience I ultimately received was even possible in a yoga class! I was expecting to do some downward facing dogs and feel better because I had gotten myself out of my desk chair

Jeanne is a remarkable, compassionate and knowledge able yoga instructor and yoga therapist. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a yoga teacher - whether for a class or for individual sessions. She knows so much about the body and can help with a range of issues, including those struggling with infertility, pain or those seeking stress management. The body can heal itself and Jeanne helps you recognize your own strength in doing this.
