After a long period of training in traditional Ryu Kyu Kempo as taught by Taika Seiyu Oyata, Shihan Nick began his training with Grandmaster Rich Fescina in 1994. He currently trains in and teaches Pekiti-Tirsia using the A.P.A.C method as taught by Tuhon Mike Popolizio as well as traditional Ju Jitsu, and has an extensive background in Ed Parker's Kenpo, as well as continuously furthering himself in Kempo.
A long time student of the Martial Arts, Shihan Nick received his 5th Degree Black Belt in Kempo from Grandmaster Rich Fescina 9th Dan, and his 4th Degree in Kajukenbo from Senior Grandmaster Rick Kingi 9th Dan. Shihan Nick specializes in training today's youth to recognize dangerous environments and avoid hostile situations, yet as a last resort, his younger students fight back as fiercely as his adults if pressed.

The best place to train by far. Sensei Nick is a great instructor, for kids he's incredible. My daughter trained from the time she was 4 till she went to college. she earned two black belts, and more importantly a lot of good morals and life instruction. She can also defend herself against multiple attackers. She just graduated from college with honors and that's in large part due to Sensei Nick. Thank you sir.

Sensei Nick is the ultimate professional. You will train hard and learn much. He will not give anything away, you will earn it. I trained with him for years . I highly recommend him for adults and kids. My daughter trained with Sensei Nick starting when she was four she just graduated college with honors. That's in large part to the training she received at cutting edge kempo. Thank you sir.

My girl has been going to Kempo since she was five. They are good people who gently teach discipline and the art without fear and without gymnastics. She says it's fun too. They have a trial rate of $49 for 2 months that includes the cost of the uniform. I joined recently too. It's a great exercise where I get more out of it than just a workout. I walk away leaner, stronger and safer.

Best experience if my life. My father is and was my main influence into martial arts. He was a pioneer in his style as well as my first sensei. When purchasing a uniform from Holbrook with my father; I was seven at the time and I was watching the class at the time completely mesmerized by the welcoming environment and sheer fun. After being trained… by my father for a short time my parents decided I needed more structure and my father refused to send me anywhere other than Holbrook Kempo. His own words were that Holbrook is and was the very best school. I will never forget my first day there
