Services
The mission of Orlando Hindu temple and Shiv Mandir is to provide a place of religious worship and study of Hindu Sanatan Dharma, Hindu philosophy, Hindu spirituality and way of life as per the teachings of the Vedic Rishis, without discrimination of Caste, Creed, Color, Nationality, Ethnicity, Gender or Religion.
From the humble beginnings of a noble Brahmin family that hailed from the village of Kanwal Gyanpur, in Varanasi, there came the founder of the Brahmrishi Mission, Gurudev Brahmrishi Swami Vishwatma Bawraji Maharj. Youngest of three, he sought little interest in formal education. Rather, he herded cows and wrestled throughout his childhood.
The Lord with the curved trunk and a mighty body, who has the luster of a million suns, I pray to thee Oh Lord, to remove the obstacles from all the actions I intend to perform.
The Lord with the elephant face, served by all the Ganas, One who takes as His food, the essence of Kapitta and Jamboophala(these are two favorite fruits of Ganesh), son of Uma (Mother Parvati), destroyer of misery of the devotees, controller of obstacles, we worship Your Lotus Feet.

Adding new bathroom and showers to facilitate devotees who come from work and or stay overnight for prayers and offerings. Creating a space for an administrative office with books and library to help facilitate education and camps for children. As we take this next big step we would like for the community to help us with this journey and growth.

This place is located in a residential neighborhood where my friend lives. I visit him every Sat night. Their bright lights and noise from bells and cars are annoying. They also throw some of their trash over the fence into his yard. They do not respect the neighborhood. Also, they are using a vacant lot across the street to store building materials and portables buildings. What a mess. Should be code violations.
