A wide variety of options are available that can be tailored to suit not only your medical needs but also your fashion preferences.
There are a number of reasons why you might prefer contact lenses to standard eyewear: a glasses-free look, hassle-free vision correction, wearing non-prescription sunwear and goggles, or the convenience of not having to worry about misplacing your glasses. If you have a high prescription or astigmatism, contact lenses may provide more enhanced vision correction than glasses.

Unfortunately Jennifer at the front desk was incredibly rude. Had an appointment and confirmed it 3x as they kept sending me confirmation requests. I called yesterday to confirm in person. And today when I arrived they said I had canceled. I can understand this happens here or there but no need to be argumentative and rude. Horrible customer service.

I went to Oro Valley Eye Care on August 26th and ordered glasses with single correction lenses. I was told that it would take 2 weeks to make the glasses. It took 4 weeks. I was able to pick up the glasses on September 24.

Absolutely enjoyed my time getting my eye exam and ordering newly prescribed glasses. All the staff members are professional, polite, and very pleasant to work with. They will take the time to explain things to you. For once, I did not feel like I was being rushed into picking the right reading glasses and the many options available. I highly recommend this place.

Update: I don't understand, even through current times, why a customer based business can't return a request for appointment and to make a purchase in a week's time.

9/12: Called and left a message. No response. Greeting instructed for faster service to text or email. Regardless, said that they would return the call in 1-2 business days.
9/12: Texted a request for an eye appointment for my daughter and to purchase contacts for my son. No response.
9/14: Texted same request. No response.
9/15: Emailed same request with a copy of my son's contact prescription. No response.

I came here two years ago for an eye appointment, they were fine nothing great nothing terrible. Well I lost my glasses a week ago and I know I need a new prescription so I called Monday and booked an appointment for Thursday. Then they called me Wednesday and said they booked me during the doctors lunch so they needed to change my time. Fine. I also asked them some questions about tricare since that's what I have. Well fast forward to Thursday now and I booked a babysitter for my three kids on a school day during a pandemic. I walk in and the first thing they tell me is "just so you

They don't answer the phone. They don't respond to texts as they instruct the potentials to do on their site. I went to the door, and actually saw the receptionist (or whomever) move her head behind her monitor to hide from me.

Lame receptionists. The manager lady is rude. She wouldn't give my son an emergency pair of contacts for his hs graduation after all the money we spent. We had to go elsewhere and then she called back hours later and said we could. Too late. The whole phone call w her was rude. Not sensitive at all. Telling me to "calm down" when I was calm and said we just need one pair for tonight. They lost our business that day. Prices are not great. Their hours are weird sometimes. The guy just stands there and ignores you even if you knock not knowing their hours.

I went to Oro Valley eye care today, and I have to say it was an extremely good experience. They have a very knowledgeable staff and the Dr I saw did a very good job at wandering all of my questions and fulfilling my needs as a consumer. I would definitely recommend this optometrist center.

Dr. Mitchell is a good eye doctor who seems to be competent. His office has the latest technology and there was no discomfort during the exam at all. Goodbye air puff glaucoma test!

Here's my concern - if they try to enlist you in a "clinical trial" of supplements for eye health, RUN AWAY. It's a scam to sell you supplements... supplements which happen to be sold in an MLM way (like Avon, Tupperware, etc.) They will show you a video clip of a Dr. Oz show. I mean, seriously, Dr. Oz?! Then you get scanned by a scanner that is made conveniently by the same company that makes

The easiest eye exam I ever had. They have all of the latest technology to examine your eyes without dilation. Yay! They have a wide variety of frames to choose from. The staff was courteous and efficient. Miguel has a flare for picking out the perfect frames. I will recommend to people who need their eyewear updated.

This is not directed towards Dr. Mitchell, who seems like a very proficient and caring optometrist. Rather, it is geared towards the optical department personnel.

I purchased some very pricey lenses from this place. They were Essilor Varilux Physio Enhanced 1.74 with Crizal anti-reflective coating. They were about $600 ... for lenses only. Within a few months, the lenses developed scratches and swirls. The anti-reflective coating was supposedly the issue. They were replaced under warranty. Second pair were fine for a few weeks and then started having the same issues.Since I am primarily a contact

I had the uneasy sense of going to a flimflam car dealership when dealing with the person presenting me with options on the lenses. After he gave me the cost, I asked him how much with my insurance. That seemed to unsettle him, although I'd presented my insurance when I dealt with the lady behind the desk upon entry. (She looked at it, but didn't make a copy or write anything down. She just handed it back to me.) He took my insurance card, went in the back and returned with what he said were the details of what my insurance would pay. He said, You can see they will only pay $5. I said

A lens fell out of my glasses today so I went here for the first time. They replaced it, no fuss, very quickly and I was back home watching football. I will make sure to check with them next time I need new glasses as it looks like they have a good selection.

It takes a very long time to get an appointment. The office is clean and the staff is friendly. The equipment seems very up to date. You don't have to get the puff of air in your eyes - which is awesome. My problem is that my perscription is wrong. I am trying to make a follow up appointment to get rechecked and appointments are a month out. So I have to struggle with the wrong perscription for six weeks, which is really affecting my everyday life. I paid almost $700 for glasses and when I finally get my new perscription, I am going to need to buy new lenses. I am very disappointed and wish

Staff is very friendly & office is clean but the equipment wasn't working and they had me waiting for a long time. Literally had to do one eye test 3 times and they could never get it to provide appropriate ratings/measurement (the staff person said the machine was overworked due to it being the end of the year). It took an extra 20 minutes and just felt comical. How long until you just give up on the exam and/or buy a new machine for the office? The appointment (which should've been a 20-30 minute thing) took over an hour. Plus, the first 20 minutes was spent filling out the same

This is a locally owned business that has been in operation for over two years. We tried them when they first opened and have no regrets.

Appointments are recommended for exams, but not needed for glasses adjustments or picking up ordered products. Waiting time is minimal to none. The staff far out shines those of the big box optical centers, like Lenscrafters and Eyemasters, which we had used for years. The doctor and all his staff are professional and kind. They provide realistic expectations in having glasses made to the specifications needed by each patient. Cleaning solution and safe
