Just had Lasik done today. I have always had difficulty with my eyes sich as putting contacts in or even getting my pressure taken as I have an uncontrollable reflex to shut my eyes close. That being said Dr Hodges, Courtney, and I believe Josh? (Sorry I couldnt remember but the gentleman who helped me move from one table to the next during surgery) were all extremely professional and kind to a difficult paitent like myself. Best time and money ever spent (7 hours after).

I have been a Pt of Dr. Hodges for 5 years, with 2x cataract and 1 secondary surgeries excellent friendly service and staff then. But recent visit awful. I arrived early waited total over 90 minutes with reg exam segments taking total of 15 minutes! Told only needed 20 minutes wait for dilation-waited 45. I was told only one doc for entire clinic now, Hodges only doing surgeries, and “emergencies take priority”! Very few Pts in office. New doc arrogant, in a hurry, zero personality-took other Pts ahead of me, one he literally “danced down the hall” in front of me to music to greet. Spent

I been going to Dr. Hodges for many years for my eye surgery and eye appointment. Today I when in for a eye appointment and once I was in the room to have my eye exam I told the assistant not to have my eyes dilated because I have some important meetings in the afternoon. I mention about doing OPTOS map Retinal Exam instead of my eyes dilated. She mention that they don't have the on-dilating camera that captures a digital image of the retina. I was very surprise because most optometrists and ophthalmologist have that available for patients. She told me that the Doctor will not see me unless

Dr. Hodges is really nice and caring. Had surgery to remove pinguicula and since that day l have not had eye pain (which caused strong headaches) and my eyes look clean and healthy now. I am very satisfied, happy and will recommend this place to trust them with your beautiful eyes!

I recently got LASIK eye surgery performed at Hodges Eye Care and am 100% impressed with both the results and the care that I received. I originally signed up for SMILE, but after the various checks and tests I did upon arrival, it was determined that SMILE may not be the procedure that was best for me. Dr Hodges and his team clearly explained the pros and cons of both procedures, and were able to answer all questions I had before going forwards.
By far, the best part of the whole experience was the surgical operation itself. I was pretty nervous going in and during the operation. Dr Hodges clearly

The doctors are nice and knowledgeable but the wait time is unreal. On every occasion the waiting room is full and it's a 2+ hour ordeal including visit and wait time. They must double book themselves and then make you wait over an hour and a half to see the doctor.

I had LASIK done by Dr. Hodges at the end of March and it was a wonderful experience. Courtney, the LASIK coordinator was so nice and informative and she made me feel so comfortable the day of my surgery! The healing process was quick and easy and I was able to see clearly 5 hours after sleeping after surgery and it just kept getting clearer and better! I now have perfect vision and I couldn't be happier! If you're hesitant or thinking about getting LASIK by Dr. Hodges just do it!

We have had positive experiences at Hodges including a successful cataract surgery and great care before, during, and after the surgery. The office is well kept and the team working here friendly. There have been a few times where the wait time was absolutely unacceptable - hours - but otherwise it's always been top rate service.

Would steer clear of this office. It was held against me that I was 5wks pregnant and couldn't move forward with the lasik surgery. I called back three years later to reschedule and the scheduler Cortney was rude and said "wow you have rescheduled a lot". It was one time in 2018 due to finding out I was pregnant and we are in 2021. I'm ready to pay and have the surgery and that's how there decide to treat their patients. No respect for moms and no customer service for that matter. She didn't even take the time to look into the situation, was just rude and judgmental

This is my last time coming to this office. I've been coming here for about 4 years now, and I've never had a good experience. I use to arrive early but I stopped because they are always running 30 to 45 mins behind. I've gotten three eye exams done and each time they do it when my eyes are dilated. Which doesn't make any sense, and every time my prescription is wrong. When I call them back to let them know the staff says I have to pay another 55$ for an eye exam! Not only am I out the 55$ but I'm out on frames and lenses too, Talk about upsetting. On this particular visit

My husband had cataract surgery in April 2018. We could not have been happier with their service and my husband's results! All the staff, from the receptionist, RNs, assistants, and physicians were professional, friendly, informative and caring. BUT- What really impressed us was when my husband injured his eye while we were in Florida on vacation. He woke up in extreme pain with light sensitivity, blurred vision. We called and left a message on the Hodges emergency number at 6:30am -which would have been 3:30am Tucson time! Dr. Hodges called us immediately and quickly assessed the situation

I would just like to add to my review from December of 2015. It has now been almost two years since my iLasik surgery with Hodges Eye Care and Surgical Center and I am still seeing amazingly well, (20/20 vision in one eye and better than 20/20 in the other eye), and am still so thankful I choose this group to get my surgery with. I had great results with this life-changing operation and I thank Dr. Hodges and his team for all they did for me.

I read the reviews after I went here and honestly I didn't have any negative experiences. I was given my new client paperwork right away, and before I even finished it I was whisked back to an exam room. I went in for a red eye I've had for a month. The first person who examined me was super friendly and funny. He made me feel right at ease. After I was done with him, I sat in a little waiting room in the back before another exam room opened. Once in there I only had to wait a few more minutes before Dr. Hodges came in. The person I saw before him (sad I didn't catch his name!) said

Puts the bottom line above patient care. Demanded I pay monies up-front before my insurance even got the claim. Appointment was made several weeks ago with no mention of this policy, only found out day before procedure, so now my medically necessary procedure will not be performed, as I did not have the cash they demanded. Has every business put their bottom line above patient and customer care and service?? I know I will never return.

After having problems with my eye for over 3 weeks I called to request an appointment as a new patient. I have excellent insurance, yet after being put on hold I was told, "The doctor said you need to go back to where you received your contacts." Wait, what? My vision is not the problem, there is something going on with my eye. Refused to make me an appointment. Fine, I was able to make one with an Ophthalmologist who is willing to treat me. Perhaps if I would have said I wanted Lasik they would have been willing to see me? Evidently they do not need new patients.

I do not think it is unreasonable for a doctor to contact you, when you are a current patient of his, to notify you that they do not take your insurance any longer. It also would not be unreasonable for his office to notify all his contact-wearing patients that they would no longer be giving prescriptions for contact lenses.

I always put up with the extremely long waits because I thought they were very professional. However, it appears I was wrong.

Dr. Timothy Hodges did my Lasik surgery in July 2014, and I am very pleased with the results. I like Dr. Hodges and felt very comfortable with him during the procedure. He's a good doctor and a nice person, very easy to talk to, and is happy to answer all of your questions and concerns. I had several pre and post-op appointments for the Lasik, some with Dr. Timothy Hodges and some with Dr. Angela Hodges. I don't care for her personality at all and would never choose to see her.

My issue with this place is the ridiculous amount of time you spend waiting. Today I had a 6-month Lasik follow

You know, in today's world where customer satisfaction is everything and is what keeps your patients coming back, if you're not spot on you lose people like they have lost me.

I'm typing this with my eyes dilated and I'm still pretty pissed, I arrived right on time for my appointment and knew to expect a wait. I didn't expect to see patients whose appointments were after mine to be escorted back for their exams first.
For that reason and others -- a rude staff that tried to explain their rudeness with being short- staffed for one-- I will not remain as a patient.

My wife and I both had our lasik surgeries here. We both had good experiences overall. They had some staff changes during our consultation/planning period, but the new person is very good to deal with. Follow up visits have been easy and quick. The surgery itself was a pretty good experience. My results are perfect (my wife has a bit of halos but that has to do with pupil size etc). The equipment is supposed to be top notch. Dr Hodges who performs your surgery itself seems very good and experienced.

I recently had the ICL surgery performed at Hodges Eye Care center and I couldn't be happier with the surgery, before and after visits and most of all the results!

Dr Hodges and his staff are wonderful, professional and very attentive. Getting rid of my glasses had been a dream of mine and because I was not a candidate for Lasik I had given up. After waiting so many years and researching different alternatives and centers, Hodges was the perfect choice for my eyes! A million thanks for everything Dr. Hodges and staff!

I'm recommending everyone I know!!
