The best yoga studio! Everyone is so kind, humble, and helpful. It is truly the best place for people of all levels. While the focus of the studio is primarily Ashtanga, other yoga classes are offered. The studio is also very family friendly and even has some classes for kids, led by kids. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for support in yoga and in getting healthy!

This studio is by far the best I've been to. The focus is on Ashtanga but other classes are also available. Their prices are fair and include a very generous new student offer, as well as an affordable family pricing option. The instructors are all super friendly and very helpful. They take the time to make sure you know what you're doing. I have made so much progress in my practice while at this studio.

Ashtanga Yoga Phoenix is my absolute favorite yoga studio. I have been taking classes there for about six months now. Although this has been my first experience with Ashtanga yoga, over the years, I have tried different styles of yoga and attended classes at various yoga studios and gyms, and this is the first time that I have felt compelled to write a review to share my experience. I hope that others will give this yoga studio a try and fall in love with its community as much as I have.
In my opinion, the main reason why Ashtanga Yoga Phoenix is so incredible is because of its instructors. At

The majority of my yoga experience has been big gym yoga, which is fine -- spacious, predictable, comfortable. I tried a few studio yoga classes here and there, but I found them crowded, and a bit intimidating.
I reached a point where I felt like my practice was stuck, and gym yoga wasn't enough anymore, I tried AYP, simply because it was nearby. I truly lucked out!
From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcome, and part of a family. The classes have plenty of breathing room, yet still intimate. Instruction is given with care, and particular to each student. Everyone feels like

I have been doing Ashtanga for a couple of years. When visiting family I found this Ashtanga studio. I have to say Cindy was super amazing... knowledgeable and able to individually help every student in Mysore class I also attended the primary series with some very accomplished students so much better than me. Nevertheless Cindy welcomed me and helped as Necessary. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to attend for classes well here in Phoenix.

I started practicing here on Halloween of last year. I knew after my first class that I had found MY STUDIO! Such loving and supportive teachers and such a great community. We all go to breakfast together on Sunday after led class. We have community events. I have grown so much in my practice with the guidance of my 3 teachers. The studio has become my home away from home. I am so grateful to have found AYP. If you are thinking about checking it out, I definitely recommend it!

I have practiced at Ashtanga Yoga Phoenix since it opened and I absolutely love it. The teachers are amazing, you get individual attention (it is a Mysore program, so each student works on the practice individually and the teacher helps and guides as needed). It is a great way to start my day!
There are showers, bathrooms, a dedicated yoga space, easy parking, etc.

I have been attending AYP since its inception in October 2015. AYP offers mysore style ashtanga yoga ( learning ashtanga yoga one pose at a time to improve your form and ensure you're not doing poses that are too advanced for you before you're ready so you can avoid injury) Sunday through Thursday and lead ashtanga yoga (primary series) on Friday. The teachers are welcoming and helpful. The cost is on par with many yoga studios and Mysore programs (115$/mo on auto pay) and they offer a new student discount (40$ for the first month). I have met an amazing group of people by being a part
