All standard inspections follow the FABI Standards of Practice. A detailed report with a concluding summary will be provided with pictures to accompany findings. Whether or not the homeowner is present for the inspection, we will be available for any follow-up calls with questions or clarifications that may be needed.
A four-point inspection may be required by an insurance company to provide coverage on a home that is older than 20 years. If any of these components have been updated, it decreases the potential future repair/replacement costs and is factored into the insurance policy. At 2RT Home Inspections, Inc., we go above and beyond to ensure these four major components of your home are in good working condition.
Our wind mitigation inspection is discounted to $69 if purchased with a four-point inspection. The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has mandated that Florida homeowners are entitled to certain discounts on the wind portion of their property insurance policy. In order to receive the discounts, homes must have the home inspected by a qualified inspector who will prepare a report.

I have used 2RT 3 times over the past 3 years. They have done an excellent job for me in all 3 instances. They showed up on time, were professional, and provided good service. They found issues in my pre-buy, and in my one year warranty inspection. I called last minute in a desperate situation, and they scheduled me in despite the tight schedule. Ryan was great to work with. He showed up on time, was personable and knowledgeable. Very detail orientated, which is what you want in a home inspector. I'd have given him 5 stars except that instead of volunteering assessments as he went along, I found I had to keep asking him what he was finding. Also, I discovered later that he forgot to try the clothes dryer. But overall, I'd recommend him heartily, and the price was right.
