I was staying down the road from Balancing Energy on a business trip and looked up their classes. I didn't know what to expect going in but the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. It can sometimes be intimidating going to a new yoga studio but they made me feel as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I love this studio!!! Started going last year and now I'm addicted to their classes!
For me yoga is the perfect compliment for running and the classes here really help me balance my other workouts. I love their stretch and strengthen classes; perfect for runners and also men. Sonia's class on 7 pm is also amazing. She's great and pushes you just hard enough. Another favorite is vin to yin on Wednesday's.
All teachers really pay attention to you and correct your postures.
The studio offers free mats, blocks, blankets and vita coco (I love drinking one on my way out).

"This is a great studio space, close to downtown and easily accessible to Stemmons for a stop before or after work. The staff and owners are very caring. In addition to great classes, they offer nutritional counseling and infrared saunas. If you haven't tried an infrared sauna, you're missing out of the ultimate conclusion to the yoga experience. The best part is the feeling of acceptance to challenge yourself to try things outside of your comfort zone. And isn't that the best way to grow!"

Great yoga studio located in the Design District! There's plenty of parking around it, or it's an easy walk if you live close by. They have quite a few class options such as a Powerful Flow (YOU WILL SWEAT IN THIS CLASS), Vinyasa flows, beginner classes, and core-focused flows. The room is always slightly heated, which is amazing in the fall and winter. There are cubbies for your things and you can either use their water filter to fill up your bottle or buy a bottle of water for $1.
They also offer nutritional coaching and Pilates reformer private classes if you're interested in

I stopped in for a quick 30 minute IR sauna session. The front desk guy was so kind and helpful- he worked me in for a late appointment and gave me some helpful tips on locating the space. The location is a little unusual as it is in the back of one of those u-shaped strip malls common to the design district and there's no sign on the street. The google maps location is correct though so it was easy to find after wandering around the parking lot for a minute or so.
The sauna is beautiful and brand new. It is spotless and in a cozy little room with fresh towels and makeup wipes. I felt totally

I first tried this yoga studio on Labor Day aka "free yoga day." The stretching class was awesome, I felt like I grew an inch. They have different levels of yoga. I signed up for there 30 days for 30 dollars unlimited starter package today and did two classes back to back. It was the perfect combination of stretching and getting your body ready for the power yoga. So I know I'm a beginner and don't know all the terms or poses and I def can't do a head stand (yet) .. but they also move you into the right position if you let them. The instructors are very different but they

I went to the 8am intro to vinyasa yoga class and it was great. This was my first yoga class so I appreciated the slow pace and explanation of the moves. The instructor also showed me how to incorporate the blocks into the routine since I wasn't used to it. I had been working out heavy and long bike rides all week so this was a great stretch but it wasn't easy by any means. I actually had a good sweat going by the end.
If you're interested in getting into to yoga I really suggest the intro class.

This place is exactly what my yoga practice needed. Every single class I have taken has been perfectly invigorating and energizing. The room is always kept at a perfect warm temperature without ever feeling too hot . The vibe is totally down to earth and as pleasant as can be. I am super grateful that I discovered this gem.

Love this yoga studio! Great for beginners, very warm and welcoming for all ages and experience levels. Great hours, easy location, each class seems to be individualized and changing rather than the standard ABC formula taught by gyms and many yoga studios. I'm hooked!
Update after a couple of weeks...the more I go to this studio, the more I love it. Lisa and Jessi are fantastic! Still have few other classes and teachers to check out, but these two rock with gentle instructions and no pressure yet a great yoga work out.

Great vibes! This place rocks. I've only been in to use the Infrared Sauna, but I love the concept, space, and room spray (homemade)!!
Here are some of the great things happening at this studio:
1. Infrared Sauna- Hard to find in the DFW area and the prices/package options are top-notch. Plus, the packages don't expire for a year. There are so many benefits to regular use of an Infrared Sauna- google it and try for yourself!
2. No mirrors in the yoga room. This is a big key to a successful internal yoga practice. Love it.
3. Nice boutique area/simple decor.
The only suggestion I

I thoroughly enjoyed Lisa's Vinyasa Flow class this morning. There are no mirrors in the studio so you can focus on breathing and not get distracted. I really liked Lisa's style, she was respectful but also had a sense of humor. BalancingEnergy is right by my office and I am definitely going to try their 45 min. class at noon during lunch. Also, I want to try out their sauna.

Best yoga studio I've ever been too. I have been coming here for months . Amazing instructors , so knowledgable and helpful. They offer lots of cool workshops . If you are new to yoga or a seasoned yogi I absolutely recommend this place . It's a hidden gem in the design district. Beginners flow and stretch and restore are great for beginners. Regular vinyasa flow is open to all levels and even if you are a beginner you can always modify. Jessi and Lisa are amazing ! The schedule is flexible as well.

LOVED this place!! Went here on a groupon and did 20 classes. Plenty of parking and teachers were awesome! By the second or third class, all the teachers recognized me and knew my name. The studio is a little smaller, but there's plenty of room. I also absolutely loved that you could store your yoga mat there instead of lugging it around!
I also loved the variety of the classes (stretch, flow, core, etc) and that each of the teachers were very helpful and encouraging during the class.
I loved this place and I'm sure you would too!

After moving to Dallas two years ago I was looking for a good yoga studio, which is laid back and yet thorough. Most of the places I found were more of a factory than a studio. They followed a script and boom after 1 hr. you are done.
But not this place, it's small; it's cozy and more personal, always greeted with a smile and by my first name. I have taken classes from Lisa and Jessi, both of them are at the top of their game. They understand the concept and have a deep knowledge of the basics of yoga.
I wish I did not have to move away and start the search for the perfect yoga studio

This hidden gem is a peaceful studio tucked away in the design district. I went for a mid-morning vinyasa flow class- which was a nice mix of workout and stretch.
The studio was really clean and nice- everything seemed pretty new.
The instructor was helpful and gave adjustments as needed. I would recommend this place. I'm not sure if they always offer this- but I know they were advertising a $5 lunch class. If you work nearby, you should check it out.
