I chose to do my dry eye spa back in 2017 because I suffered with my own intolerable dry eye disease for years. I was miserable, where every time I woke up in the morning to the time I went to bed and even during the night when I had to get up to find relief.

Dry eye syndrome (DES) is an unpleasant condition where the eyes feel sore, itchy, gritty, and irritated. Any of these may lead you to either not produce sufficient tears, or to produce tears whose balance of water, lipids, and mucus aren't sufficient to lubricate your eyes properly.

I had suffered with painful, gritty, scratchy feeling eyes for years. I always felt like I had something in my eyes irritating them. I had seen an optometrist who suggesting using drops, however, that wasn't helping. I am so grateful I found Dr Bevels! After just a few treatments she has cured my dry, irritated eyes. As a sufferer of Dry Eye Syndrome since my teens -- many decades ago -- I never received effective treatment for my condition. I started seeing Dr. Bevels in May and have been very pleased with my results. I am not where I want to be yet but can definitely say that the treatment and "homework" is changing my life. I only use drops 3-4 times a day now (instead of upwards of 10 times or more) and am not experiencing any excruciating, burning, stabbing pain anymore. I have had dry eyes for over ten years, which at points has been so bad I can't wear contacts without pain (and usually if I don't have pain, I get daily comments on how red my eyes are). My ophthalmologist recently told me there was nothing more he could do to help my dry eyes. I was really discouraged. I went home and googled dry eyes in Tucson hoping for other options and there to my excitement was “Elite Dry Eye Spa”.
