At Strands Salon we are committed to helping you look and feel your best. We believe that continuing education and practical training of our staff ensures an exhilarating experience for our clientele. Attending hair shows/conferences, taking classes at nationally recognized academies, participating in show events and keeping up with current trends in art and fashion are integral parts of our growth as beauty professionals.
Let us know about your lifestyle and what you envision for your hair and then we share and exchange our thoughts on whether that's suited to your hair type, facial contours, and coloring and whether we think it's a style that will be easy for you to maintain. Since everyone's hair is different, we want you to know how quirks like cowlicks affect your haircut.
Please arrive on time to ensure you receive your full service. We recommend that you schedule your next visit prior to leaving the salon so we can be sure to accommodate your schedule. In consideration of our other clients and our technicians, please give 24 hours notice of any cancellation. If advance notice is not given, we ask further appointments be reserved with a credit card.

Was great until it wasn't. Saw Eddie here after the pandemic and needed to put some style into my hair. The first cut was great.
Second cut wasn't as good, but still better then most.
THE THIRD time I went however was pretty bad. Eddie got distracted socializing with another customer and I think messed up my cut. Stuff happens and that'd be okay IF he'd been willing to fix it.
I am a male with short hair. I called the day after the cut asking for a touchup to fix it. After being put on hold while Eddie was consulted I was told, "He's too busy to see you today" and was given an opportunity to

I love my hairdresser at Strands, Normand, but I always get nervous calling in because half the time a woman receptionist answers and is so unfriendly I feel like I'm bothering her and like she cant wait to hang up and get rid of me. I keep going because, again, my hairdresser is AWESOME, but I wish the people answering phones would be a little more customer service oriented!

I went there multiple times and every time I go I say this will be my last as I would come out very upset. But It is around the corner from my place, with a very convenient location and no need to drive far I always give it a second (or maybe by now 10th) chance.
My experience is limited to Michael Matuizek since he is the only stylist I have used. Other stylist might be better. Basically I will never go there again I promise now. Micheal is very arrogant. He thinks he is a CEO of some big company or something. He does not listen to customer and he does always what he wants on YOUR HAIR. I understand
