The hairstylist I had was very nice however coming from another hairstylist point of view, she need a lot more practice doing blondes. She bleached my roots once which was fine but didn’t leave it on long enough so she had to go back in and bleach it again. But instead of just focusing on the orange pieces she put it on my already white root causing a lot of breakage in my crown area. Good thing I told her it was burning my head too much to let it sit or more of my hair would have broke off.

I got my hair done with Julie for a wedding event and she did an amazing job. I got a half up half down hairstyles and it lasted the whole night. Gorgeous.

I have super thick hair and two girls worked at the same time to help dry it faster. They're friendly and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend checking it out. I had a great experience at Twirl! From getting the appointment I wanted to my service I really enjoyed my time there. My stylist was very knowledgeable and the other employees were very nice and friendly. I loved my highlight and will definitely be going back! Highly recommend

I went in to Twirl and my normal hair stylist was no longer their and this is the second time this has happened since joining this salon. Management in the building must be piss poor and have a lack of consideration for their employees/ staff. The turnover rate is so high and the tall blonde always stomping around makes it an unpleasant environment especially when it’s supposed to be a relaxing experience. I will no longer be a client and will take my business elsewhere.

I have been going to this salon for almost 2 years as a blow out customer. Recently, I have upgraded to the platinum package; I have been so happy with my choice. Sarah, the owner is so involved in every customer and their satisfaction. She will ensure that every customer leaves happy and satisfied. She is so appreciative of all my family and friends I have happily sent her way. I started going to Twirl last year for my wedding hairstyle and make-up. Sarah and her staff did an absolutely beautiful job on all of us.
I have continued to go to Twirl. They offer package deals, which are a great deal. Most of all, all of the stylists are very nice and welcoming. You will not go be disappointed using Twirl for all of your hair styling needs. Everyone is very professional .

My daughter had her hair done a few weeks ago and it came out good the girl did well she liked it. The only thing while being there waiting I could see tension between workers. Some were talking loudly about things customers shouldn’t be hearing. Have to think about going back.

BEWARE!!! Do not sign any contracts!!!! Horrible customer service. Trying to charge me for 13 months!! When I clearly cancelled 60 days prior to my expiration date. Trying to swindle an extra month! Do NOT sign anything!

My shirt was ruined during my hair coloring session. Stylist did not take enough care to protect my clothing during the treatment. Not sure why they don't have capes available to change into. Especially if the stylist doesn't know how to be careful with color. When I discovered the staining, I was told hair spray would get out the stain. It didn't help. I called back. Very little sympathy and was told next time to bring a shirt that I could change into. Not acceptable. The overall experience did not meet my expectation.

I could not be happier with the services I have received at this salon. I have been coming twice a week for over 2 months and my hair has never looked soo good! I have received endless compliments on my hair since purchasing an unlimited blowout package.

I am extremely picky about my hair and typically end up styling my own hair after a cut & color when I get home from a salon. Well those days are over!! As a new customer, I was a walk in. The place was busy, but the owner squeezed me in. I told her i wanted to loose my grays and stay looking natural. Holy #@$%! My hair has never looked so good. The depth of color is super natural and the service was great. The price is equal to the service, but they have some monthly packages that make the services reasonable.

After a long week of working doubles , I finally found time to sit back relax and treat myself to a much needed trip to the hair salon. I called to schedule an appointment at twirl hair studio at 9 am although I was pleased that they could schedule me right away I was a little annoyed when my hairdresser was 10 minutes late to my appointment. As soon as I walked in there were already several women waiting as well,and I watched every single one be take into a chair before myself. My hair dresser who's name was Sarah finally showed up and say me down in the chair and asked me what I wanted done

Arianna does my hair here and she is great. I also had them do my wedding hair and makeup for 7 girls. They were easy to work with, not too expensive and were able to accommodate everyone and get us done on time.

Bad experience! My bangs were so uneven that I had to go back and they still are horrible! Also was told that what I purchased I could return as long as I keep receipt only to find out that this wasn't true!


I was told by the receptionist that if I wanted to return the brush and had the receipt I could. The brush was never used.

Despite having lived in San Francisco, and currently living in New York, I still go to Sarah at Twirl whenever I'm back in Rhode Island and in need of a haircut (most recently in November of 2013).

Sarah always listens to what I want for my hair, and only gives suggestions when I tell her I'm open to them. That's very important for me because I've had hairdressers say they're going to trim and then take 3 inches off (not a trim!).

Also, her prices are REALLY reasonable, $35 for a trim on my long hair. Having had her cut and style my curly hair in many different ways

Love my haircuts here - I've had other hair stylists compliment me on my cute cut and ask who did it. I don't color my hair so I can't comment on the quality of those services, but I have received good nail and spray tan services. I always leave satisfied.

I purchased a living social deal to get a keratin treatment here for $129 (keratin is a special conditioning that lasts 3-ish months and make frizzy/curly hair much more manageable and easier to straighten. I've had one other one done for $175 online coupon on Newbury St in Boston, and this was my second. And I refuse to pay full price- upwards of $300-, so I always wait for an online deal.)
