I lived here for a year. The amenities are amazing and the maintenance is so fast and helpful. I never had any issues. There is a lot of bugs but they spray weekly and I think it’s the area not the apartments. It’s in a perfect location and also has great renovations. Would live here again if I stayed in the apartment living! Also when I moved out I got most some of my deposit back which was a surprise. They’re fair with their process if you keep your apartment maintained.

I currently live here. The only good thing I have to say about this complex is David. Great guy, who actually cares about the tenants. Other than that, highly disappointed in the management. Currently going on the 3rd day of having my AC broken, and having management tell me it is repaired only to find out it is still broken. Great at collecting rent on time, horrible at fixing AC during heatwave.

Amenities are disappearing as they’re “too expensive” and not worth it to maintain, they’re still being advertised though.
Also my first month I had things stolen from the laundry room.
Washer/dryers are mostly terrible and machines remain broken for 4 months and counting.
Now month 4 and the catalytic converter was robbed from the bottom of my car.
I’m out of here ASAP

I just recently moved in and really appreciated the social distancing and no-contact measures taken where possible.
Quick shout out to Niesha who in particular has been very responsive and helpful in addressing all questions and concerns I had.
Hannah was also friendly and attentive on the occasions I worked with her.
The apartment itself is modern and featuring hardwood floors with carpet in the bedroom and a beach-vibe brown and white color scheme. Overall, a great move in experience and I am looking forward to living here.

We've lived here for 11 months and it has gone down hill since we moved in. First the saunas stopped working then the hot tub. They said they were not going to fix either of them but they still advertise them. The washers and dryers hardly work in the laundry rooms and it doesn't look like they will fix them any time soon. Security is a joke, my company vehicle was broken into and when I talked to my neighbors they said they've had their cars broken into a well. With everything closed and broken you'd think they would give a discount on the rent but they won't. We will not be renewing our lease

The atmosphere is good, though the manager is a big concern. Hannah seems to be a nice individual, but her kids as well as family believe they are entitled when living there. Her kids are extremely rude to other tenants who want to enjoy swimming. They don’t follow the rules that Hannah makes the tenants follow. Food and beverages aren’t allowed at the pool yet Hannah lets her kids eat and make a mess. I witnessed myself a tenant who was on the huskier side go to enjoy the pool and her daughters were making rude remarks as well as staring at him which he even told me made him feel uneasy. Her

We lived there for 2 years. We were quiet and paid on time. The pros are the complex it's self is in decent condition. They have a beach Caribbean vibe. The best part is the location. The cons: the management is horrible. They play favoritism, take forever to handle big issues, and find ways to falsely accuse you of things so they can raise your rent and/or try to get rid of you to get new tenant for hire pay. Royal T, the property management is even worse. They never allow you to talk to someone beyond the receptionist. Good luck

Extremely satisfied with the quality of life in these units, even though they're located right on Herndon, it's a really clean, well kept and centrally located. Close to everything, food, entertainment, shopping. Have a family member who's been living here for years and loves it. The unit he lives in a unit with a nice size patio area.

If you ever have any questions in regards to the apartment, stay clear away from Niesha (or however its spelled). Not only is she argumentative and rude when you have any questions, but she makes it clear she takes zero pride in her work. Instead of helping a resident, she will leave you baffled and disgruntled in the end.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I lived here for 2 years (quiet, always paid my rent on time) and wouldn't recommend it if you want to feel like the hard-earned money you pay is valued. Here is an exact copy of my complaint to the BBB about a problem I had, FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, regarding my air conditioning at the same apartment. The first year it took them a week to repair anything and all they offered me was an incompetent swamp cooler 4 days into the event because "they only had 3 for the complex and they were all being used." They told me I could go to Walmart and buy an

Very friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. Apartments are so nice for the price. Read reviews about security. No different than anywhere in town. You need to be smart and not leave things in your car. Be alert when walking at night and always be aware if your surroundings, not poking down at your phone.

I've been a Resident of Crystal Tree
For the past 20+ Years. One of their Office Staff - DANIELLE, is very Attentive and knowledgeable, about their complex. She always listens and then gives me insights about their Recreation Complex, with the Pool, Pool Tables, Dry Sauna's and Weight Room. Crystal Tree's Staff are Second to No Other Apt Complex and I highly recommend them.

Don't go here . The staff has no communication. Came out of town to come look at an apartment, done to find out , they don't have any more available units . The staff, Danielle , and Jessica are irresponsible. I even called earlier that day to confirm an appointment. Got there , and they told us nothing was available. Horrible management and a waste of time . 0 stars.

Be wary of this apartment complex. They are dishonest about their practices. Daughter moved out early but still paid last months rent but was told they would try to rent it early so she could receive some of her money back but instead they left it empty and didn't tell anyone it was available to rent. They also tried to hold her deposit by saying she hadn't given them her 30 day notice. The rules change on a whim and they lied about some of the things they would fix before she moved in. She lived there a year and they never fixed those items. Portly run complex.

Why should you NOT live here?
1) As a 25 year old female student, I had no protection from their security nor assistance from their staff after having a man peer into my bedroom while fondling himself on 10/22/16 only to be told by their office that "nothing like that has happened at Crystal Tree". I had to ask the office for an additional lock on my door for my safety and installed black-out curtains for which I was charged for gallons of paint upon my move-out to cover the holes from the nails used to hang them.

We have had such a great experience moving into Crystal Tree. This complex came highly recommended from two of my husband's colleagues. Hannah has gone above and beyond to help me and my husband transition from a long distance move. The apartments are quiet, the premises are clean, and the maintenance crew has been very professional and responsive with any issues. I now understand why they are full and have waiting lists. We will see what the move out process and ongoing experience is, but so far so good!

I honestly feel generous giving Crystal Tree 1 star, but Yelp won't let me give them 0. Since the day I moved in I have had numerous issues with the management. For starters, they tried to charge me a second security deposit on my move-in day because Hannah, the main manager, was out of town when I originally paid my security deposit. Clearly they had quite a bit of miscommunication going on, however, they had the audacity to accuse my roommate and I of miscommunicating with each other just because we're young. After we finished our initial walk-through they

Last year when my roommate and I found this place we were blown away on how low the rent was, only to find out that there are reasons as to why it's so inexpensive to live here. In the 8 months we've lived at Crystal Tree mine, my boyfriend's and my other friend's car have been broken into and our belongings stolen. The broken burner on our stove has been reported and they have come by to try and fix it, but it still doesn't work. The old fashioned cabinet and drawer handles are so sharp that they get snagged on your clothing and rip holes in them. With the little we have

This is the 2nd time they have done tree work without notifying us ahead of time. Last time the workers broke our table while removing tree branches and this time they are removing a giant pine tree that completely covered our apartment and garage. We weren't given any notice until after the tree was already cut down and they needed to get into our backyard to remove the debris that fell on top of all our stuff. I can't wait to get home and see what they broke this time.
