Services
Acupuncture can be used to help improve or cure problems your pet might have, including those related to the musculoskeletal, reproductive, neurological, or gastrointestinal systems. Acupuncture can also be used to manage pain and hasten recovery after surgery. Acupuncture, which originated in China, has been used as a therapeutic treatment option for thousands of years.
We monitor our patients closely to keep them as safe as possible during procedures that require general anesthesia. A veterinary technician will continually assess your pet's heart and respiratory rate, blood pressure, and other vital signs to help prevent any anesthetic risk. For some procedures, your pet will need to be administered general anesthesia so that he or she will be unconscious and not feel pain.
Looking to improve conception rates in your breeding program? Using one of two methods, we can assist you in determining the optimum time to breed your dogs and enhance the success of pregnancy. We can perform vaginal cytology on female dogs to calculate the stage of estrus. This method involves taking a swab of the vaginal cells and analyzing them under a microscope.
Beaks continue growing throughout birds' lives. Although birds' beaks usually wear evenly, some birds develop beak problems and require veterinary assistance. Trimming its beak incorrectly can cause your bird pain and may prevent it from eating, which is why we recommend having your bird's beak professionally trimmed.
Fleas can cause problems for pets ranging from minor to life-threatening. Not only can these parasites cause severe itching, irritation, and allergies, but they can also transmit tapeworms and diseases. Fleas can infest dogs, cats, ferrets, mice, and rats. And fleas don't just stay on pets; they can bite people, too.

They are so nice! I'm so happy I found them. Had an emergency with my cat and regular vet which I planned on leaving anyway couldn't see him and Pine Tree really came through. They were able to squeeze me in and kept in contact with me throughout the time They had him. Very grateful.

I was referred to this Vet by a close friend. My dog loves the staff, they are all very caring and compassionate, even the techs. They are also very good with responding to any emergency. Highly recommended Veterinarian in Moore County.

Great vet! I researched several vets when my local vet I had gone to for years closed. They were so nice and inviting when I arrived with my many fur babies. I was impressed with how fast they were with my multiple pets. I had so many I actually saw 2 vets, Dr Watson and Dr Israel, and both were very nice and informative and focused on each baby I brought. The only request would be to have a discount for having multiple fur babies. All my pets are rescues so a discount after so many would be a huge plus for me. I would recommend this vet office to anyone looking for a place for your fur babies

I used to take my animals here 2005-2011. They were great then and still are! I just came back after 10 years. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and well trained. There is a homey atmosphere which is comforting. Dr. Watson obviously loves animals and loves what he does. He's always right on and a good diagnostician. If I could give Pinetree 10 stars I would!

I love Pinetree Animal Hospital! I have patronized Pinetree for more than a decade. All of the veterinarians are compassionate, professional, attentive and empathetic. The front office staff are very professional, kind, and welcoming also. They even make house calls. I am confident in their abilities, and I have referred my friends to Pinetree as well. I can't see myself patronizing any other pet care facility in the Moore County, NC area. Pinetree is one of the jewels of Moore County!

We have trusted our pets care for several years now. The entire staff, assistants & Doctors have always been very attentive to any concerns we've shared regarding the health of our adult cat & dog. Our last visit was sad for us. We had to let our sweet baby boy (dog) of 14 yrs cross the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Watson & the entire team were sincerely compassionate through this transition. We were able to say our farewell & comfort our boy as he passed. Dr. Watson explained the process as he administered the injections to our Harley, who left this world peacefully.
