I, Robert, will be teaching online live classes each week via Zoom. You will need to download the Zoom software to have access to the classes. The link will take you to the correct site. I send my wishes for health and peace to you and your loved ones in this challenging time. Please feel free to send a link to this website to any of your friends or family that might gain benefit from my classes.
I have added a new feature: the classes will be recorded and available for streaming at your own convenience for a few days after the class. I will be charging $18 for these classes as well. If you miss a class or can't quite make the posted start time, then send me an Email and I will send you the link to the Zoom recording.

We are a small studio, average class size 7 to 15. We have all been influenced by the teachings of B. K. S. Iyengar. This method of teaching Yoga postures creates a foundation of precise physical and mental engagement within the practitioner. This foundation will allow you to practice many styles of Yoga safely and effectively.
Although similar to other exercise classes, there is a strong emphasis on mental focus, and the breath. We move through a series of positions while the instructor gives direction on the correct way to align the body. It is at once both invigorating and calming. Prenatal Yoga is a great way to take care of you and meet other local moms to be.

I have been meaning to write this review for years. Robert is the best. He is incredibly skilled at explaining the postures, and why we need to do them. He takes yoga seriously, but he doesn't take himself too seriously - everyone laughs during every class at least once. If you have never tried yoga, or if you have been to a yoga class where the teacher was more interested in how they looked at the front of the class, or how in how important they wanted to feel, go to Robert's class and see what it is like to have the teacher focus on each individual in the class. He is more than willing

So far I've only been to Amelia's prenatal yoga classes (which she has discontinued, WAAAAAAAHHHHHHH) but I love her as a teacher, and she does teach other classes at this location, so once I'm no longer pregnant I will totally go back for her regular yoga classes. I highly recommend her, she knows a lot about the body and gives a lot of individual attention in a very gentle and relaxing way. I always hope she'll come adjust me because it just feels so good :) In her prenatal classes she commonly does partner poses, which was a bit awkward at first because I'm not huge

I strayed from the clan for a while due to scheduling conflicts. During that time I tried a yoga class or two -- nothing really stuck. Robert is magic. He adjusts your poses, allows you to improvise without making you feel "less than," and provides anatomical understanding with the help of his skeletal assistant.

I agree completely with the other reviews - the reviews are really good! Not much to add except to emphasis how welcoming Robert's classes are. He takes seriously the well-being of his students, but doesn't take himself too seriously. Classes can have a mix of participants and you start where you are - he makes that OK. This is the farthest thing from a franchised yoga class - very local, very at home.

Robert Gray, the studio's main teacher, stands out as a leader in the Bay Area Yoga community. Having studied with him for over a decade, and being a Yoga teacher myself, I can attest to his deep knowledge of Yoga and anatomy. Robert is precise in his description of postures, treats students to detailed individual attention, and is very effective at demonstration. His sequences are delightful and varied. I highly recommend Park Boulevard Yoga to all beginner and advanced students.

Robert Gray is an excellent yoga instructor. The first question he asks when entering his class is if you have any injuries or problems. If so, he always has adaptations to suggest during the class. He is attentive, knowledgeable, and provides feedback during the class in a very supportive manner. I have been a student of his for the past 8 years and have greatly benefited from the practice.
