Most of our staff are military veterans who understand the sacred importance of honoring those who have served in the military.
A person only gets one funeral or memorial service. We know it's important that your loved one's service be properly conducted. In the wake of my father-in-laws passing we were left devastated and unprepared to make arrangements. Wally and each member of the Green Pine team were so caring and kind to us during our time of sorrow. They showed the utmost respect, draping a flag over my father-in-laws body, a proud WWII veteran, as his body was wheeled from the nursing home. We utilized Green Pine Funeral Home services for both of my elderly in-laws, one who passed in 2017 and the other who recently passed. We experienced great service. Manager Wally Messer listened to our wishes, wrote an appropriate contract, communicated often and fulfilled the contract exactly as it was written. They were so kind - It meant even more than they'll know. I felt so comfortable talking with the funeral director on the phone and he explained everything so that I could understand even with all the other thoughts and emotions going on. My Mother has been peacefully resting at Green Pine for over 12 years and I can't thank the staff enough! Wally and Ellen helped me through the most difficult time of my life with planning and executing my Mother"s wishes right down to the smallest detail of makeup and the pair of earrings she wore. Thank you both for placing and photographing the silk flowers we send numerous times a year. Your grounds are secure and kept beautifully manicured. Your compassion and service has been OVER THE TOP and we highly recommend Green Pine to everyone searching for a final resting place.

Sadly ,we have had other occasions in our family over the years when we needed a funeral home. This was our first time using Green Pine and we were very pleased. We will never use any other funeral home in the future. They truly treated us like family.

A wonderful facility with immaculate grounds! The staff is phenomenal and very attentive. In a time when I was very vulnerable, they were very compassionate with me and they did not attempt to take advantage of my weakened condition like I've heard so many places will do. The "owner" of these grounds will personally harass you and threaten you while your visiting your loved ones. I'm not talking about her coming out and saying hey you shouldn't have picnic with your deceased loved one please put that up. She will come out cursing, screaming, and threading you to the high heavens. You try to make amends but saying hey I'll put my stuff in my car I didn't know and I'm sorry. (Without an attitude) she will continue to curse you telling you to leave her property that the cops will throw you in jail because she's friends with them. Mind you all this because you bring
