I’m not one to ever leave reviews for places I have lived because yes they all have their fair share of issues. But here at McCarty the parking issue is beyond bad. I come home sometimes and it’s not even maybe 10pm and their are 0 parking spots anywhere to be found. So I will be forced to park under a covered spot due to their being no spots. All these times that I have parked in said spot, I wake up with a you will be towed sticker on my window. I call the apartment complex to explain the situation and the person I am talking to says “you can either pay $45 a month to ensure you receive

McCarty must be reviewing themselves because I have heard far more bad reviews than good from previous residents.
When I moved in, management was kind and responsive. Now that a new team has taken over, they don't seem to care about residents or resolving issues. They have avoided calls, emails, and other communications from my roommate and me, repeatedly.
I would not recommend this property.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! This place was super nice and management was very helpful when I moved in. However, they quickly sold to new owners and management. The management has been overcharging me for 6 months now and has no explanation for why. All the new management people are clueless and no help. The hot tub has been broke for MONTHS. Not worth the price.

DO NOT Move In!
Not a safe place to live specially if you have kids. A
Neighbor tried to get in our apartment claiming he didn't notice it's not his apartment and had a headphone on couldn't hear me yell. Yet how did he not feel me pushing back the door hard and kicking to stop him from getting in. One of management ladies "I will update Y'all with her name" was rude. After the incident. I was in distress "I have autism" I wanted to stay around the front office until my husband comes back from work. She shooed me and my kids away from the front office I'm guessing so visitors wouldn't notice

This place has all kinds of hidden fees. When you call the office they say they can’t discuss it with you? What kind of service is that. I’ve been moved out for 2 months and now they want to bill me something. Plus, when I lived there, there was never any parking, the pool was green for a month, and there appeared to have black mold growing on the building. The inside interior is nice but don’t let it fool you. Management is terrible and bless your heart if you need to get something fixed while living there because it won’t.

Beware of bad customer service. I was looking for an apartment for my daughter and we did decided on a unit at the McCarty Commons complex. We filled out all the paperwork for the application. We were in a rush because of issues with another apartment complex. However, the other complex stepped up and made things right. So we canceled the process with McCarty Commons. After 3 weeks I am still waiting for a refund of the $500 I paid for the application fee. I have called, e-mailed, and have never received a response back. My daughter also has called and left messages. You guessed it, no response
