A California licensed attorney and real estate broker, Brian Rossman, Broker & President of Vestira, has been providing financial and legal services to home and business owners since 1993. Mr. Rossman's practice includes an emphasis on real estate and corporate matters involving financing and entity formation issues.
What is the difference between a Fixed-Rate Mortgage and an Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (ARM)? The actual saving depends on how effectively you would have shopped on your own behalf, if you had elected to do that rather than using an UMB. Only thorough and meticulous shoppers who place no value on their shopping time should disregard this source of value.
I conduct a lot of research before I select a service provider. In the case of a mortgage broker, it was not any different. During my search, I discovered in the Real Estate section of the local paper, some lenders advertise their interest rates. After checking with a number of these brokers, I found that their advertised rate was much better than their actual rates.
Most busy home buyers can only take the time to compare programs at a few local lenders. When Vestira shops for you, we work with different lending institutions nationwide. At first I was a bit standoffish towards Brian as I had no idea who he was and why he was trying to sell a domain name that is very close to the one I currently use. I am not one to easily welcome a sales conversation from someone I have never met before and claimed to have something I wanted, without me knowing that I wanted it.

Brian handled the refinance of my home in 2013. (I should have written this review much sooner.) He did an excellent job for me - his services were so great that I referred him to several family and friends. (In fact, my brother ended up hiring Brian to financing three properties.) The most important thing I can say about Brian (and Vestira) is that he is honest and trustworthy. One of my biggest concerns when looking for someone to handle my loan was whether they would be gouging me with hidden fees or pushing a mortgage product that did not fit my needs. I was looking to refinance, and a friend recommended I talk to Brian Rossman at Vestira. He was great, he answered all my questions and I never felt like he was trying to "sell" me on anything. We selected Vestira to refinance our house because they are a member of upfrontmortgagebrokers.org, who would tell you upfront the cost of the loan. We're so glad we did. We've found Brian to be the consummate professional who's managed to get the loan closed for us in a timely manner. Originally we applied our house as a multi-residential, because it has an accessory dwelling unit. Then there was an appraisal issue, and the loan was suspended. We used Brian Rossman of Vestira for a recent refinance of my jumbo mortgage. I have pretty high standards (and therefore often disappointed), so when I say that he has my highest recommendation, you can be assured he goes above and beyond in terms of knowledge, service and agreeableness. I had no idea it would be so helpful to have a great broker. He was able to get a better deal from the same bank that owned my original loan than I could on my own. I highly recommend working with Brian Rossman at Vestira. He is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. He has access to better deals than anyone else I could find (and I called quite a few people). He was the only person I could find that could do a cash-out refi on an investment condo. I have a fairly complex set of assets. He did an incredibly thorough analysis to ensure that my application would not raise any questions with the underwriters. I found Vestira and Brian through the mtgprofessor.com site as a recommended "upfront mtg broker" for this area. I knew after doing a bit of reading on the site that he was the type of broker I wanted to work with for my refi. Brian has lived up to and beyond my expectations. Following a recommendation from a co-worker, my husband and I used Vestira for 2 jumbo home loan refi's over the last few years and have had great experiences both times. We got great rates- better than what we could find with a bank - but more importantly we trusted Brian to look out for our interests. He really took the time to explain the process and pros and cons to us of the different options. I would not hesitate to recommend Vestira to a friend or family member- and in fact have done so on a few occasions.
