I am here in Baltimore visiting my family when my engine light on my Frontier went off. My son recommended Leading Edge as they are right down the street but also has done great work for him. I called, they told me to bring it right down they could at least scan the codes to let me know how serious it was. They scanned it immediately on arrival; the code indicated cylinder trouble. My car was having trouble with a strange knocking sound and vibration of the steering wheel when I stepped on the brake.
I took my car to Leading Edge. The staff was friendly and helpful. It cost me $50 for the repair estimate and they quoted me about $1,800. Also, my car had an alignment done, but when I told them I wanted a paper with the results, the staff lost the alignment paper and the paper they gave me the next day did not show the exact one, which made me distrustful.
So I went to another car shop for a second opinion. They gave me a free estimate and fixed the weird knocking sound right

Go here! I am not even a customer... yet, but I had heard great things. I called just to ask what kind of car they would recommend i purchase for my son. Two of them (Donny was one) talked to me for 25 minutes during their busy day about all kinds of considerations for all kinds of cars, from reliability to safety to repair cost and availability of parts to appearance. This is THE ONLY place to go if you are remotely close to Pikesville/Mt. Washington. I have gone to Leading Edge for auto work as well as body work many times. I can't say how many times they've said, "xyz isn't the problem, it's xyz," which means it will cost $50 versus $500. That's the kind of place this is. But, not just a matter of good prices - they get the problem solved - the first time. They are not going to overcharge, or make you believe that the issue is something that it isn't. I had an amazingly easy experience here after my bumper was rammed by my neighbor (awkward situation yes!). They were super efficient and friendly and helpful. All I had to do was communicate with insurance, they had a rental car waiting for me when I got there, and when I picked my car up it looked brand new! The bumper job is perfect, and they even vacuumed my car (which is no easy feat- let's just say I have a very hairy dog!)!! Definitely recommend!

Leading Edge is amazing. I have had both body work done and mechanical problems resolved. Recently I needed brake work done on my BMW. They picked up the car at my house, repaired the brakes and returned the car to my home. All for a price at lease 1/2 of the dealership. I would never go anywhere else.

I saw Leading Edge Auto Body had a Groupon for a wheel alignment, which I knew that I needed for a car I recently purchased. I called to set up an appointment on Sep 17, 2020, and I was told that the alignment would not be able to happen if there was damage to the vehicle. I decided to set the appointment, but not buy the Groupon until I knew for sure they would be able to do the alignment.

Leading Edge was recommended to me after calling Brentwood automotive and I will definitely now return here for future car work. My parked car had been hit and I needed an estimate to provide to the other person's insurance. Shawn was thorough and efficient in creating this report and able to explain the different parts in labor. They used quality pads and my peddle action afterward was just like I like it. In the past other places left my peddle not to my liking, for me that is impressive and important. I also had them put a emblem on my rear quarter Panel it look like it came from the factory.
Their customer service is very good attentive and patient.

This has become our go-to auto shop. Certainly more than able to do any body-related service we have asked of them. Their prices are fair, they are prompt, they do great work and they are nice about it. Body work spot on. Detailing done well at a good price. Have replaced light bulbs and done other things for free. Recommended good hub caps for our car and put them on after we got them elsewhere. I could go on.

I used this shop for the first time to perform some pretty major body work following (what I thought was) a minor accident. The repairs took a while, no fault of Leading Edge, but when I got the car back it looked amazing. The work was superb and they left the interior of my car cleaner than it had been in months.
Additionally, when I got hit with some out of pocket charges for my rental car, due to the length of time my car was in the shop, Leading Edge covered the overage for me...again, even though the delays were not their fault. They are a top notch shop and I highly recommend them!

Honest, trustworthy and effective. They told me my minivan just wasn't worth the money to repair. They got my mom's 3rd-party extended warranty company to cooperate so we didn't have to take it to the dealership. They fixed a dinging overhead light bell that had been driving us nuts for 3 months with a hammer and 30 seconds with no charge. Plus they have Dennis the Dog. I'm a single mom schoolteacher with few extra pennies to spare. I just hate that the rest of Baltimore is catching on and Leading Edge is busier than ever.

This place is great! I called about a screw in my tire, and was looking for a patch. They had me come down, and fixed my tire in less than 10 minutes. When I waited to pay, I was told there'd be no charge. NO CHARGE?!!
It was a rough day, and leading edge restored not only my faith in humanity, but also my ride. I've been wondering who'd be my mechanic here in the city, and now I know where I'll go.

Called before I came here for a quote on bodywork and they told me I can just come by and they'd do a quote for me. Parking is a bit confusing but there were spots open. These guys seem really busy and move fast, love that everyone was working and not just sitting around at some service shops I've been to. Makes me feel like I'd be paying for actual work not for sitting around looking good. I was greeted promptly and waited* only a few minutes for someone to come look at my car.
