I've taken Jane's Prenatal Yoga class, Postnatal yoga class, Prenatal Partner Workshop, and her Mama Tree Level 1 & 2 trainings. She's incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. Plus she's really funny :-) Her yoga classes were essential during my pregnancy and early post-partum days, and I've learned so much from Jane about my own body and how to support other birthing people. Whatever you're considering taking with Jane, JUST DO IT!

I attended Jane's prenatal yoga classes during both of my pregnancies and again for Mom & Baby yoga, too! I've also completed Jane's level 1 & 2 Mama Tree Prenatal Yoga Teacher Trainings.... so you can say I'm a fan :-) Jane brings humor and truth to her teaching. She is an incredible resource for pregnant people and for yoga teachers who want to know not just how to support pregnant bodies, but how to celebrate them!

Jane Austin is a wealth of knowledge and experience and is a master of her craft. I have been a student of hers through Mama Tree and learned so much about prenatal/postnatal yoga and beyond. Jane is able to create a community out of the students who attend her class, and you know that in her class you are not only getting physical benefits from the practice, but your emotional and spiritual wellbeing are being nourished as well. I traveled from Los Angeles to study from her in San Francisco because I truly believe she is the top teacher out there! Thank you for sharing your gift with us Jane!

I'm a yoga teacher and did a prenatal yoga training for 5 days with Jane (Mama Tree level 1). She really is the best! Because of her background as a midwife and doula, not to mention a Mom of 2, she is highly knowledgeable on all things pre and post natal. During the training we learned soooooo much more than just yoga poses. She offers a wholistic approach to learning about the Pre-Natal reality for Moms. Truly enlightening! Every yoga teacher, whether looking to teach purely prenatal classes or not, should attend this training.

Jane's prenatal yoga class was the cornerstone of my pregnancy. I looked forward to it every week, not only for the yoga, but for the amazing community that Jane fosters in each and every one of her classes! There's nowhere else you can spend 1.5hrs with 50 other pregnant mamas and feel so welcomed, seen and heard. Jane strikes the perfect balance of sentimentality, practicality and humour. As for the yoga, I left each class feeling limber and relieved from the standard aches and pains of pregnancy. It was the perfect blend of strength training and stretching, perfectly tailored to the

She truly is the best prenatal instructor around. If you are lucky enough to live in Bay Area while pregnant you must go to her class. Jane is incredibly knowledgeable (in addition to teaching teachers in prenatal yoga she also is a midwife and doula). She's also funny, caring, honest, and just a breathe of fresh air. I was certified as a yoga instructor a few years ago and while I don't teach regularly she has reignited my desire to teach. As a pregnant mama I just feel so lucky to have her as a resource as my body changes, this baby grows and I prepare for birth. She always has

Went to this class at the recommendation of a friend and I couldn't be happier. The round robin at the start of every class makes you realize that those weird pregnancy issues you think you're having are... Not so weird. They're totally normal and everyone has them.
While the classes were good, Jane really shined for me in the partner workshop we did before giving birth. She helped me (and a somewhat skeptical partner) understand more of what would be happening during birth and how he could be supportive in the room. His lower back massage during labor ended up breaking my water

There is a reason Jane Austin is on the list of "You know you are a San Francisco Mom when......"
Not only are her pre-natal and post-natal classes pure wisdom, but if you have the pleasure to go in-person, the community that she brings together is so great. I've met some of my best friends through her classes.
Her knowledge of the what goes on in a woman's body and mind during pregnancy and postpartum is priceless. I think I was able to deliver my second child naturally (not even an IV) due to her prenatal partners class and the mental prep and empowerment I received

Jane is quite possibly the best yoga coach out there, especially for prenatal and postnatal yoga. I started going to her Yoga Tree Valencia classes when I was pregnant, and credit my super fast and smooth delivery with her wonderful practice. My infant daughter and I have been going to her postnatal Mom & Baby classes since she was 7 weeks old, and it has evolved into a wonderful ritual and community for us. In addition to the excellent postures and bonding time with my baby, as a first-time mom I have to admit I've learned more tips and tricks for taking care of both myself and baby

I cannot say enough about how incredible Jane and her classes are! I went to a prenatal class when I was 17 weeks pregnant, and was immediately hooked. She is wise, hilarious, a fantastic yoga instructor, and has created a beautiful community of women and mothers. I attended her prenatal classes several times each week until the day before my labor, and returned for postnatal (+baby) classes when my son was 4 weeks old, until he was crawling. Jane knows exactly what pregnant and post-partum women need, physically (and emotionally) from a yoga class. There were many days during my pregnancy when

Jane is pure magic. I'm a graduate of her Level One Mama Tree teacher training, and I learned so much in such a supportive environment. After completion, I felt prepared to teach and support mamas in their yoga practices, and became part of a huge network of teachers who care about families and their needs. She packs a LOT of info into this training, but in a way that is digestible and relatable, and gives you materials that I've come back to again and again in my teaching. You won't find a more trusted resource in this city for pregnant women! Thank you, Jane!
