Built by Thomas Cremer in 1874, The Cremer House is the oldest building in downtown Felton. For many years it functioned as the Grand Central Hotel, a restaurant, bar, and boarding house run by Thomas and his wife, Margaret. Rich with history, the building has been preserved and restored to create the perfect setting for an American Restaurant & Alehouse.
We serve bountiful lunches and hearty dinners inspired by classic American recipes: homemade and traditional. We showcase a variety of 24 craft beers and ciders on tap, as well as 10 local wines on tap, and homemade sodas. From the outdoor patio to inside at the bar, The Cremer House is the perfect spot to enjoy a handcrafted beverage and a thoughtfully prepared meal in a small town outlined by redwoods.

We went on saturday 20th june 2019 , it has both seating inside and outside .As we were 7 of us they asked us to wait for 30 minutes to be seated . They offered us seat but it was only for 6 people . The people sitting next offered us their table and we were able to sit comfortably .
There is wide selection of house draughts and wine . I ordered Coast Kolsch (Mt.Shasta grown malt adds body ,crystal hops give it a bright ,crispy refreshing fruit finish 4.8%abv,calicraft brewing) the beer was crispy less bitter and was good , my daughters and son in law and his relatives ordered beer and wine .

Fantastic organic restaurant with local flair and flavor. Artichoke Dip is a must to start with a locally crafted beer or glass of wine. Tonight the Monterrey Bay Rock Cod was utter perfection atop vegetables, mashed potatoes and spaghetti squash. The curry vegetable entree is mouth watering and filling. Get the beet salad if you are a beet lover!

Our food was over cooked - dry- and over priced. We ordered a side of Mac and cheese and got a quarter of a regular bowl and paid $13.00. We also got charged for syrup for the fried chicken and waffles. The chicken was dry and the waffles were over cooked. Super sad experience over all. Very disappointed.

I stumbled upon The Cremer House after visiting Henry Cowell Redwoods. After 3 days in the Santa Cruz area and tons of recommendations to other places that turned out to be mediocre and expensive, we decided why not check it out. I am beyond happy with that choice!! We were seated at a great little table for two. The bar was hustling and yet the place wasn’t overly loud. I could easily carry on a conversation with my husband. I couldn’t decide between the Cremer burger or the fish and chips basket. The server said I could not go wrong with either. Our server, Jenny, by the way was fantastic

My husband and family came to eat here for his bday. Never been here and drove all the way from Monterey. While there are zero complaints about food or drinks, the complaint was with the manager. He had our server straight up ask us when we were leaving. When looking around, no other server asked their parties this question of the many empty tables… around us on the deck.
Our kids were not being noisy or disrupting . We were sitting in a corner and keeping to ourselves as to not ruin anyone else’s experience.
That was extremely rude and unprofessional. We hoped this would be added
