Services
In 1996, Ward co-founded Alex & Katz Residential Services. Alex & Katz became Katz Residential Services in 1998 and since 2002 has been named DRS. Ward oversees operations and is instrumental in the acquisition, financing and management of properties. He serves as developer and general partner of most projects in which the company is involved.
Peter Katz is the vice president of DRS. He is also president of Denver Residential Services, an affiliated company, where his responsibilities include oversight of accounting, property management practices, maintenance, and capital improvement projects. Prior to DRS, he was a principal Walpin & Co and Dunton Commercial.
Ward Katz has over 30 years of institutional level property management experience, are accredited with the CPM designation from IREM and are practitioners of a hands-on management style with an emphasis on employee training and providing the best in customer service. DRS' primary mission is to manage for institutional clients, both third party and as venture partners, utilizing systems adaptable to clients' reporting requirements.
