The apartment itself is ok, it's one of the cheaper options in the area that allow bigger dogs and you more or less get what you pay for. It wasn't the best but I am sure there are worse apartments. The area was nice I never felt unsafe and it's pretty close to some stores and restaurants. Maintenance was ok they were friendly but seemed to always to try the cheapest fix even if it meant it was going to break again soon. Managment can be hard to get a hold of but when I do talk to or email them they have not been rude but it can take awhile to hear back from them.

I rented a apartment here last year the apartment was nice however I still haven’t received my security deposit it is now the end of August I moved out in March and was told by Jennifer it would be mailed to me the manager Claudine is extremely unprofessional never answering or returning calls I literally had to contact Willoughby courts hopefully I’ll finally get my security deposit back

Approximately September 18 I heard people screaming in the complex next door, my boyfriend and I who was visiting, ran to the window to see what was going on...As I looked out my window I seen someone giving what appeared to be chest compressions..Being a Licensed Nurse and holding a BLS Certification, I ran down the stairs hoping to assist the next door community with an emergency..My boyfriend who frantically ran behind me forgot to put his shoes on, trying to also run to the scene to help..When we arrived to the side gate, we observed a lady giving a 🐕 compressions trying to sustain the life

I’ve lived here for about a year and a half now and this place has really grown on me, along with the people. I love that there is a mixture of cultures here; American, Croation, Hispanic, etc. The grounds are kept really nice, in the summers is fresh flowers and fertilizer, and in the winters the driveways are always cleared out.
As far as the apartment itself, the upgrades are really nice, you can tell that Sussex West really put some thought into it when picking the interior designs for each apartment. However, the installation could have been done a little better in my opinion. For example

The staff here, Tony and Jennifer are great. They are always a delight to deal with. Love them. The management company is garbage. They claim to give us a “new parking lot” when all they did was paint the old one. That’s it. The parking lot is a mess, it has holes everywhere. They upgraded the laundry machines when there was nothing wrong with the old ones and then charged us double the price to do a load. The old machines cost less than $2 to wash and dry 1 load. Now it’s close to $4. Not only that, the new laundry equipment is unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, which
