Our professional staff of ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists, and opticians are specially trained to evaluate and treat all of your visual needs. From optical correction for glasses or contact lenses to complicated medical and surgical disorders, we have over 60 years of experience helping meet the visual needs of Green Country families.
Whether it's surgery, optical correction, or medical treatment, our experts can recommend the best course of action for conditions ranging from blocked tear ducts to tumors. An orthoptist is an ocular muscle imbalance specialist, and the only certified orthoptist in Tulsa works here. See how ocular therapy is sometimes the best option.

Services
A fixture in the Tulsa medical community for more than 40 years, Pediatric and Family Eye Care was the first eye care facility in the state to offer pediatric eye care services. Today, we continue to build a reputation as a total eye care solution for children and families. You can find the full range of optical services including medical, surgical, and optometric care for almost any emergency or routine ocular problem here at PFE.
For optimal ocular care, initial evaluations can be performed any time after birth. Your PCP will do appropriate screening evaluations on the newborns and infants, and refer if further evaluation and treatment is needed. We recommend a complete ocular examination by a pediatric ophthalmologist at age 3 and then as needed depending on the child's vision findings.
This is a misalignment of the eyes. The eyes may turn inward toward the nose (estropia/ET), outward away from the nose (exotropia, XT), vertically upward (hypertropia/HT), or some combination of these. Your thorough evaluation will determine the appropriate therapy(s) required for your problem. This term means "dull" or reduced vision in an eye(s).
Our optical shop, Pediatric and Family Eyewear, boasts the largest selection of children's frames in the area as well as a full collection of frames, lenses, and accessories for the whole family. We have on-site opticians to adjust each set of frames to each patient's facial structure for optimal fit.
