At Downtown Tulsa Eyecare, Dr. Julie Holmes and Dr. Kristin Vandervoort and our entire Tulsa optometry team are committed to providing advanced vision care in a professional and comfortable environment. As an optometrist our primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function.
Downtown Tulsa Eyecare supplies a wide range of optical lenses from various lens manufacturers. In fact we have access to all major brands of optical lenses, including Hoya, Essilor, Shamir, and Zeiss lenses. The benefit to the customer is that we are flexible in choosing lenses that best suit your wearing needs and your budget, and we can match lenses successfully with previous designs you have worn.
The office is located at 4th and Main Street in the Reunion building with our own private entrance off of Main. Our office logo is overhanging the door. If you would like to utilize the garage parking, the entrance is located between 4th and 5th on Boulder. Boulder is a one-way street that runs North, so you will have to enter it from 5th street.

I am SO HAPPY to find Downtown Tulsa Eyecare! Dr. HOLMES and staff are AMAZING! I have been wearing bifocal glasses for 7 years now and after covid I wanted to try contacts for Astigmatism. I tried contacts thru my previous eye Dr but I did not have a great experience and was going to give up. My employer suggested I see Dr Holmes. The first visit I was HOOKED. Dr. Holmes was so patient and up front told me it normally takes a few visits to get contacts right and she was a perfectionist to get it as great as it should be. She found issues I didn't realize I had and got me set up with a solution

Knowledgeable, Professional, and Attentive!! This group care about your eyes for real, it's not just a cute word to have in the business title. I've been wearing glasses for over 30 years and contacts for about 20 and this is the first time I've had this level of attentiveness taken towards my eyes from a doctor. I've learned more about the eye and my eye issues in the short 2 years I've gone here than ever before. Now for the icing on the cake - The staff is exceptional! This place is great. They were extremely kind and communicative about appointments, helpful when deciding the best options for my eyes and my budget, and consistently got me in and out of the office with everything I needed in no time at all. I appreciate how they helped me find the best contacts for my eyes, in addition to teaching me how to wear them and ordering a future supply. Finally, they have great procedures in place surrounding coronavirus which is just the cherry on top of a great series of experiences I've had with their office. Can't recommend highly enough.

Dr. Holmes saw an issue in my eye & explained what is going on. She put me on some eye drops & referred me to a specialist. She was able to get me in to the m specialist the next day early in the morning. Then she checked on that evening to see how my eyes were doing.
She truly cares. I’ve been going to her for 12 - 13 years & she has always been very thorough!

Dr. V was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. It’s one of the best and most thorough eye exams I’ve ever gotten. Prices on lenses and frames were completely reasonable and the selection was great. Highly recommend this office if you’re looking for a relaxed and knowledgeable eye doctor experience.

I first met with Dr. Holmes several years ago with an eye infection and I was so thankful that she was willing to see me on such short notice. She made sure that my eye was healed and I have had no problems since. Dr. Holmes' staff are always pleasant and professional. Since I work downtown it is so convenient to get an appointment around my lunch hour. I highly recommend Dr. Holmes.

The Dr and staff at Downtown Tulsa Eyecare are the best in Tulsa. I am 56 and have never had an eye exam be more personal and at ease as I did here. This is my second visit, last August was my first, my glasses from last August are still perfect never broke never had a problem. That's amazing in itself. They paid my parking, got me in and out in time to open the store where I work. Didn't make me feel uncomfortable for needing to get in and out and got me there with minutes to spare. As far as I'm concerned no one in Tulsa should every go anywhere else but here. They are hands down the best in

I love this place! I had had problems with my contacts for a while, and they were only getting worse. Dr. Julie Holmes got me a new type of contacts, some eye drops, and a new prescription (who knew I had astigmatism in my left eye?) and it was wonderful! We tested out a couple different brands and she was very patient, meeting me for multiple appointments (which were all super quick and not a time drain on me at all). Plus I like how she actually explains what she's doing the whole time... makes going to the eye doctor super interesting. They also have some weird eye camera that you can pay extra
