During your appointment we take photos and specs of your jewelry. You take your pieces with you. Appointments are usually 30 minutes. Once the report is complete, you will receive a PDF that includes a description, digital images, diamonds plots, and a glossary of related industry terms.

Yet another stellar review must be added to Greyhouse's already perfect reputation due to the experience I received today. I scheduled an appraisal appointment for my Grandmother's jewelry to decipher the real pieces from costume jewelry. Russell has the personable yet appraisal expertise that I needed for separating the cluster of jewelry that my Grandmother loved so much. He was able to discern each piece with ease and it was a true pleasure to watch his mastery in action. Russell was very kind. We arranged a same day appointment with him and we got there my stone ended up being a fake. He told us a little about the piece and didn’t even charge me for his time. He’s very friendly and very well educated on diamonds. I now have a real one and will be taking it back to him to get appraised.

Russell was prompt, professional and friendly, and I felt so comfortable chatting with him. He helped me assess a ring that I had been given from my grandmother, and since it wasn't particularly valuable/expensive, he didn't even charge me for a full appraisal. I still got some useful information about the ring, including measurements of the gems, and know a lot more about it than I did previously. I can't recommend Russell enough and if I have need of future jewelry appraisals I will absolutely come back here!

NOTE: Greyhouse is subleasing a space from Calvin's Fine Jewelry, so to reach Russell, go into the Calvin's store front. Seems his schedule is 11am to 4pm, and he prefers appointments.
Russell was fantastic! I just walked in and asked about getting a ring appraised, and they said Russell was their guy for that, and they put me down on his schedule. So simple.
He is very knowledgeable! I have a rare gem in my ring, and he was not only familiar with it, but gave me a great story about how the gems were discovered, as well as care tips. I'm so thankful for his service.
