Out of any of the apartment complexes in the Madison/Huntsville area, Ashbury Woods by far is not only the best bang for your buck but also the best community. My husband and I recently moved out due to buying a house but over the time that we lived there we loved the community, our apartment, and the staff. The staff is always willing to help and in a timely manner. With the gate system and the multitude of lights around the parking lot I always felt safe. I would highly recommend Ashbury Woods!

I have lived in 7 apartments in Huntsville, and Ashbury Woods was my absolute favorite! This is the only apartment that the real apartment was just as nice as the model apartment we were shown. Everything was clean, and the apartment had great lighting, with beautiful double paned windows, GIANT closets, and vaulted ceilings (we were on the 3rd floor). Any time there was an issue (which was rare) maintenance was quick to respond. Minimal to no bugs, which was such a wonderful thing after coming from the roach infested Brixworth Apartments. Plenty of parking space. A gate that actually works! The

I lived here for 3 years, and overall I had a wonderful experience. Management is helpful and friendly, and maintenance is always quick to respond. And the units are very spacious compared to other similar apartment complexes in the area.
My only complaint would be the dumpster compactor regularly breaking, causing a big trash pileup. But that was mostly caused by residents putting large items in the dumpster that would jam the compactor.
Overall, I would recommend this apartment complex as a nice, quiet place to live.

I'm being generous giving this place a star.. Not even 2 weeks since we moved in and we are experiencing a constant thud, running up and down the hall in the middle of the night that woke us up from our upstairs neighbor.. I made 2 phone calls and sent 2 emails to report it to management and nothing has been done so far. What makes matter worse, when I reported the issue, the guy I spoke to over the phone knew who it was.. I didn't even have to tell him which unit we are having issues with and now we are stuck with a years lease..

Worst ever when it comes to management. Nasty dumpster area always has trash overflowing and smelly.
I tried to go to the totally empty and quite nasty pool today and even though I have been several times before and my name is listed on our lease contract, they wouldn't allow me to go because my fiance is the "lease holder" and he has to sign for a pool pass. I told her I had been at pool before and she said "they shouldn't have allowed without a pass", she wouldn't let my fiance take care of it over the phone, he had to stop work and go to office just to sign

I lived at Ashbury for 3 lease terms. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this community. Leasing office was always super friendly, maintenance requests were fulfilled in a timely manner. During my stay I needed a new garbage disposal, refrigerator, and a/c unit due to years of use. I had all these major and minor requests fulfilled quickly and I felt heard and appreciated as a resident. I had friendly neighbors and loved how safe and quiet the community was! THANK YOU ASHBURY!!!

Just moved in. So far so good! Always parking available, staff have been very helpful and kind, nice pool (needs to be cleaned more often though). Very family friendly. Apartment is spacious butnot overly fancy. We have everything we need and it works just fine. I've heard the HVAC is poor in the winter but to be determined :)

Staying here the last 10 months has been a very unpleasant experience. Before moving in I stated to the leasing agent that I did not want an apartment with children overhead (I do not have anything against children). I just realized kids can bring noise if they stay above me. The agent, pretended as though she was checking the manifest and said where I was moving I didn't have to worry about children. A BLATANT lie!!! The first night I was there it was constant stomping and banging...it appeared to not only be from a child. It sounds like an adult was in the gym playing basketball. I reported the

Wish there was a below zero rating I could leave. From the beginning it's been horrible attempting to deal with management here. We wanted to move our Satelite tv here and when we signed our lease we were told we could bring it. When the tv company came out for install they had to receive a letter from the apartment manager stating they could place it on the balcony. We were denied the letter and told by the apartment manager that they "did not like the look of satelite dishes" on their property. I have a contract with my tv service and that meant I would have to pay a contract end

To begin, I will give you a little back story. We are a family of four, my wife and I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old. We had never lived in apartments with children, so we wasn't aware of things like; we should be on the bottom level.. We moved into the 2nd level apartment in January. 2 weeks after our move in, our children who had been staying with grandparents came home. Same day as their arrival our downstairs neighbor came up and asked us to keep it down. Every day for 2 weeks our neighbor would come up and ask us to please quit running, jumping, etc. which was not happening, we are
