6 months in so far it has been a pleasant experience living here. Elizabeth is very accommodating. Maintenance work request was taken care of with urgency (as of this point), unlike what is noted in previous reviews, so maybe they have been trying to be more responsive. I also noticed some apartment floorings are being renovated. Gym equipment could be better.

Warning! May charge more if you sign the lease too early! This is not a complaint about the facilities, weight room, entertainment room, or apartments. All of the rooms are clean and as displayed on the website.
Where the issues arise, are the lack of communication. I signed my lease for Fall 2021 in early July 2021. I even referred my friend, who later signed in late August 2021. At the time I signed, the price was $690, despite the website displaying $630. When my friend signed it was $630.
This means 1824 lowered the price in the middle of the summer, the busiest time for student renters,

The WiFi is super slow, sometimes it doesn’t even work. The office people is liar. They have good service when you first time tour this apt. After moving out, their attitudes changed totally. They announced its a pet friendly apt. However, they don’t allowed you have a puppy under one year old. They also have restrictions about pet’s weight. The security deposit is incredibly high for international students. This apt requires triple rent for the security deposit which is nearly 2000$

I NEVER write reviews but this one felt warranted because I truly hope this company goes out of business.. DO NOT LIVE HERE! I lived here for two years and while it started out okay, it progressively got much worse. When the pandemic hit, as a student I chose to stay because they were offering an addendum that would let you out of the lease if all of your classes moved to online. Both my roommate and myself signed a lease and when our classes moved to online, we sent in our schedules and other supplementary materials to break the lease. Within that same day, my roommate got our of their lease but

Overall a pretty bad experience here. Everything about the apartment just feels cheap, and because of that it is very overpriced for rent. The apartment never did anything for you to meet other people in the building. For being student oriented it felt like a quiet hotel. The maintenance has very slow response times, usually takes a few days before they fix something. Had a broken seal on a toilet that leaked and covered the floor with water a few times sporadically, it stopped leaking when the maintenance man got there, he said well it’s not broken because it’s not leaking and didn’t do

Lived here many years ago and stayed for 2 years. It was a great place to live when I first moved to the city and I think back then it wasn't advertised as student housing, but it was predominantly student tenants. The prices back then were probably different too.. I think I paid around $650 for the large bedroom in the 3 bed unit. Over the years, the management teams were kind enough to honor my initial rent price when I first came to the building, as the rates kept increasing.
The staff changed probably 3 times when I was there and seems to continue that way. It really varied on who was managing

I've lived at The Park going on 3 years now and it definitely feels like home! After living in the UWM dorms, the search for an apartment near campus was super stressful but the Park was the best ( and safest) option.
Having a furnished apartment with WIFI, AC, study rooms, fitness center, laundry, etc has been sooo helpful. The parking is also super convenient if you can get a spot in the garage. I have friends who live around other areas near campus who have to park on the street, and many of them have had car break-ins or even stolen mopeds/ bikes. Luckily the park has a secured garage and

I have lived at the park for almost 3 years and it has been great. Their building has many things to offer to accommodate any resident. Their units have everything one needs and are furnished, making it easier on a college student to not have to buy and move in much furniture. They provide a common area which includes a game room, kitchen area to use, and access to computers with free printing (which is another super plus for college students). Other amenities include a fitness center, theater room, study room and a laundry room that all can be utilized. I really enjoy the fitness center because

I’ve been a resident for quite a long time now, and the Park at 1824 has always been a super friendly and welcoming place to live. For a college student, it’s super close to the bus lines near UWM and has an ON-SITE laundry facility. There are study rooms available and even a fitness center open 24/7. The staff are exceptionally kind and maintenance orders are quickly fulfilled. The security system is safe (fobs required to access the building) and the community is normally trustworthy. 10/10 recommend for a student who is sick of the dorms but doesn’t want to live alone just yet. Super grateful

Currently going on year three of living here and my experience has been nothing but enjoyable. They have endless amenities that cater to college students such as game room, workout room, community center, theater room, and study rooms that allow you to meet people within the building. The free access to computers and printing is a huge plus as a college student as it is always available during crunch times.
They also offer parking ($100 a month) which comes in handy during all the months but especially during the winter when you don't have to worry about scraping your car or moving it for snow

This place seems really nice at first glance but don't let that fool you. More appliances inside the buildings are broke than not. They've had people stealing laundry in their lobby for more than a year and the camera there still isn't fixed. Between constantly broken appliances and raising the price throughout our contract not once, but TWO SEPARATE TIMES, this place will give you a real run for your money. They also love to blame patrons for damages that were already in place or their own fault so as to get security deposit money from you. They only care about making money and

If you are looking for an apartment with furniture, go elsewhere. The furniture we had in our apartment was nearly all damaged. Even though the are under new management the place is still horrible to work with. They constantly close early, some days they don't show up without warning and are only there Monday-Friday. A homeless man entered the apartment building few times and cornered me into the corner of my hallway and when I asked management about it, they said the could not see him due to the camera angle of the hall. He entered a few times after that and harassed other people in the building

Buyer Beware
The Park at 1824 is a nice enough place for a decent price in a seemingly quiet area. However, be knowledgable of all its shortcomings before signing:
1. Office is only open 9-5 M-F. If you work, then forget ever trying to be in contact with them. My fob key broke on a Friday night and there was literally no one to contact all weekend for a way to fix it so I could consistently enter my own apartment.
2. License plate theft happened on the regular in the paid, "secure" parking garage. Management made no effort to thwart this and would not even refund parking for an area

My friend told me about this place and it seemed very nice but it was kind of out of my budget range. What I really didn't like is that when i was looking into this place they were advertising a three bedroom two bathroom apartment, (all individually leased) for $725 a month with all utilities included except heat. I was told by management that this was a great deal and to act fast because rooms were filling up quickly. I wanted to move in but it was still out of my price range. Two weeks later, when I had already found a new apartment, they were advertising on Facebook for the same bedroom

The Parks are a good housing option. The building was loud some nights and sound travels very easily though the ceilings and floors. I don't know if I'd recommend this for anyone who values a quiet environment. The amenities offered are good though the high-speed internet they offer isn't the best. Normal speeds were about 5mbps It was nice to have the ability to submit service request online, issues usually get taken care of within a week. Separate leases are definitely a plus, and the online rent payment made it easy to pay. I enjoyed most of my time there but towards the end I
