We offer comprehensive services from all fields of dentistry. In addition to high-end dental equipment, all services are provided in a comfortable, luxury environment. Teeth cleaning is recommended for each person at least (2) times each year, but depending on your dental health, you may require a cleaning more frequently.

Children, teens, and adults should all see the dentist for a regular checkup at least once every six months. Patients who are at a greater risk for oral cancer or gum disease may be required to see the dentist more than just twice a year. Your doctor will help determine how often you should visit the dentist for regular checkups.
Our practice accepts cash, personal checks, and most major credit cards. We also offer prepayment discounts and accept dental insurance. Even though dental insurance is a private arrangement between you and your insurance company, our team will file your claim, handle the paperwork, and help you get the most insurance benefits.

I just had 2 implants done by Dr. Shukoor this week, and I cannot rave enough about it! I came in for my surgery with high anxiety and trepidation, which put me off sleeping the night before. Firstly, the clinic itself is modern, clean and welcoming. All the staff that I’ve encountered since my first visit in April this year have been very attentive, helpful, and friendly. I went in just as a consultation to get my teeth looked at for Veneers after being referred by a friend from Virginia beach for the consultation. (Yes I live 3 hours) but my teeth are important. It’s the first thing people notice about you especially being in sales. Not only did the consultation go well but he was able to accommodate my schedule and work weekends and after hours which is unheard of in the dentistry world I can imagine. I always love to smile but now I think I do it even more. The only recommendation I can give is that if the doctor says it will only take 2 hours it likely will

Dr. Shukoor went above and beyond to make sure that my smile was perfect! This was my second round with braces and Dr. Shukoor made sure that I understood each step of the process from impressions to wearing my aligners and retainer. He even cleaned up some composite left over from previous work. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Kambez Shukoor and the rest of the team are fantastic. Great services, great offices, and a great team. Highly recommend. My teeth have always been very crowded, and Dr. Shukoor was the first dentist who considered me a candidate for invisalign, and convinced me to do it this year even though it would mean removing a prominent tooth. It was one of the greatest decisions I've made, and the office helped make the treatment as affordable as possible.

This dentist has a wonderful bedside manner, but is itching to do implants on anyone and everyone to the point that he finds a reason to remove perfectly good teeth that really would be fine with a far less invasive procedure. The staff used to be great, but the new staff acquired over the past year leaves much to be desired. If he says get an implant, get a second opinion and maybe you'll be happy here if only used for general dentistry. He is not an implant specialist, and doesn't get them right when he does them, as he's clearly in this to take money from patients rather than

My first impression was “Wow” at the updated technology and filing out paperwork is done digitally. My three daughters had several appointments for cleanings, sealants, and fillings which went well. They are flexible with appointment changes and send reminders. The staff is friendly and their care for patients is evident. Although, I didn’t have dental work done, I do recommend Dr. Shukoor’s practice: he is competent, generous, passionate and knowledgeable. Godspeed

Dr. Shukoor and team were phenomenal. First, I was enthralled by the office itself. So beautifully renovated and cozy. Secondly, the staff was extremely kind and made me laugh a few times. I am huge on personable interactions as it makes the experience all the more better. I haven't found a dentist that I would be willing to stick with until meeting these individuals. 100/10 recommend for enthusiasm, understanding of your needs, suggestions, and making you feel welcomed and comfortable.

First appointment with Dr. Shukoor was great. I was there all day to get two crowns done at the office. His staff was very friendly and made me feel so comfortable. Thanks to Sergio for staying late to finish the procedure. Even though they were lengthy procedures, It went really well. I highly recommend this practice!!

Excellent work done; friendly and highly competent staff (Dr. Shukoor is smart, skilled, and has good communication and empathic “bedside manner”); the office has the latest technology and dental equipment; the office carefully followed sensible covid precautions, which made me feel safe; treatment is fairly affordable (better than nearby dentists I’ve used but still pricey if you don’t have stellar dental insurance). I cannot recommend Dr. Shukoor and the team at CACD enough. After moving to DC 5 years ago I had not found a dentist I felt comfortable with or confident in. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, I needed an emergency root canal and Dr. Shukoor saw me right away that Monday when I returned fitting me in as a new patient. He was incredibly friendly, funny and made the very painful experience feel easy and I felt immediate relief. I visited Connecticut Ave Cosmetic Dentistry for the first time last week for a cleaning and whitening, wanting to try out a new dentist. The entire experience was phenomenal. As soon as I stepped in I was greeted by the friendly receptionist, Corey, who offered me a drink or coffee. I waited very briefly in the front office, and the entire place has a very modern and clean, but stylish look to it. I could have not been happier with my decision to switch my dentist, what an amazing office, professional friendly staff, and I can not say enough about the dentist himself. When I moved to DC from SF in 2016, I continued to see my general dentist in SF, quarterly, when I returned on work trips. I had braces 2014 - 2016, but was unhappy with the shape of some of the teeth once they came off. Fast forward to 2018 and I still hate the shape of my teeth and need a dose or two of bleach. Enter CACD & Dr. Shukoor. I wrongly identified the problem, he correctly identified the real problem...two minutes later my teeth look great and I'm happy I went through the aggravation of adult braces. Even better, I walked out with a freshly cleaned and brightened smile.
