Despite its reputation for being an extremely painful and traumatic procedure, a root canal is fairly gentle, actually relieving pain and saving your tooth from permanent damage and possible extraction. Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder can cause issues in your jaw while talking or eating. Take a moment to learn how to recognize the most common symptoms, so you can receive an accurate diagnosis and find the right treatment for you.
Whether you have a chipped tooth, broken tooth, or other smile flaw, you may not have to undergo an extensive veneer application or cap your tooth with a dental crown. Long-lasting, tooth-colored dental bonding could be your best smile solution.

Upon leaving my first appointment, the receptionist called to tell me I owed several hundred dollars she "forgot" about after telling me I was free to leave. Then, I was 10 minutes late for my second appointment because there was traffic due to snow and the same receptionist made me reschedule because the staff in the office wanted to go home early. Then, she informed me that the next available appointment wasn't for over 2 weeks from that day. She was very rude to me repeatedly and not understanding at all. Overall, the dental work is fine but the customer service should be negative

I have previously reviewed this dentist and it seems like they have made a new yelp since my previous review so now it is not showing. This place is fraudulent, told me I had many cavities when a second opinion said I had 1. Then seeing as my insurance wouldn't cover a second round of X-rays I asked them to send them to me and they sent me the WRONG X-rays. They had the wrong X-rays on file for me and were making decisions and submitting things to my insurance off of a man with a permanent retainers and root canals X-rays (the next dentist i went to told me this) Now, more than almost 2 years

Surprised this place is still in business. Known for recommending procedures that are unneeded and over charging. Dig through their “reviews” and find the few real reviews that expose the truth. They have their employees writing the reviews. I’ve attached an example. This guy works here and is writing reviews and giving compliments to himself. Give me a break. Call them and check if you think this is a false accusation.

The dental hygienist, who was kind and apologetic, popped off a crown during my rather aggressive cleaning, I almost swallowed it right there in the chair. I hacked it up and they put it in a bag for me. It was very distressing and I was really shook up. The dentist was pretty dismissive and simply gave me referral sheet for an endodontist down the street. I did not understand what the plan was to fix the situation. I went in my car and cried, then called the endodontist. Thank goodness he could see me immediately. He sent a report to the dentist right after he saw me with his recommendations

*NOT A DENTIST FOR YOUR MONEY'S WORTH*
I got a new job with brand new dental insurance. I went to Dental Town DC for the first time at the beginning of September just for cleaning. They require patients to do X-ray before any procedure is done, so I followed through. Dr. Shenasi looked at the X-ray and said she was concerned about one of my teeth and persuaded me to get a root canal done for that teeth first since she told me teeth-cleaning might cause more pain/discomfort on it. I trusted her and went to the endodontist that SHE REFERRED to get the root canal done and then scheduled to

I was so nervous coming to any dentist because I had previously had a bad experience. Dental Town DC made my entire visit relaxing and enjoyable! Dr. Kim absolutely is the bomb.com and the entire staff are knowledgeable and genuinely care about the clients. They all take time to truly sit and listen to your concerns so that your time at the dentist can be a pleasant one. I will definitely be coming exclusively to Dental Town DC moving forward for all my dental needs ☺️🌟

!!!!!AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!
The short of this story is Dental Town DC is just after your money. Don't be tricked by their seemingly friendly service or nice office. In one visit, Dental Town DC tried to charge me $608 with what should have cost me $29. In this visit, they attempted to extract money from me and my insurance company through three situations.
(1) For context, a couple of months ago, I had gone to a trusted dentist from my hometown while visiting my parents. I received a cleaning and they found a cavity but couldn't fit me in for a filling before I returned

My wife had nice things to say about this place, and they seemed to be priced reasonably. That being said, they clearly do not clean or maintain hygiene appropriately because my wife immediately got sick after coming from there, and consequently I got sick. Given that we never leave the house, it was a natural experiment of sorts. At least it wasn't COVID.

I literally got a yelp just to review this place.
I went to Dental Town for a cleaning/check up a few months ago. They took x-rays, pictures, and the doctor looked at my teeth. The doctor told me I had 8 cavities, needed a root canal, and a new crown. They pointed all of the issues out on my x-rays, so I believed them. When I went to check out, the receptionist explained that my insurance would not cover any of the procedures (despite saying that it would when I initially scheduled my appt), and she pressured me to pay for all of the procedures up front. When I explained I didn't have $6

I, like many others, don't look forward to go to the dentist, but Dr. Shenasi make me feel so comfortable that I look forward to seeing her every 6 months for regular examinations and any work that might have been needed. the staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating. I had to get a filling done and I barely felt anything!! Highly recommend this place.

I feel like five stars isn't even enough to give this practice. I would give it an infinite amount of stars if it was humanly possible. I had a dental emergency and Dr. Shenasi not only did a consult with me during a holiday weekend she was able to squeeze me in during the week and schedule me for surgery in less than two weeks. I am incredibly appreciative to her and her staff. The office is beautiful, the taste in decor is impeccable and the wait time is virtually nonexistent. Even though I live 45 minutes away I will still come back to this practice. If you're looking for a dentist

Dr. Shenasi is the best! I've had so many problems with my teeth over the years and Dr. Shenasi always treats them perfectly. She knew I was nervous about the procedure I had to get so she gave me her cell phone number in case I had any questions or needed to reach her. I've even had to text her at night and on a weekend with questions and she's always so friendly and helpful. She's the only dentist I've had who does that and it makes me feel so comfortable. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
